During our three night stay, we never had hot water for showers. The water we did have barely trickled out of the shower head. It was difficult to even wash the shampoo out of my hair. We nicely reported the lack of hot water to the front desk, and she responded, “I’ll look into it.” That was it.
The floors were sticky, and we had to immediately put on socks after getting out of the shower, keeping them on at all times to avoid sticking to the floor.
Out of the two available elevators, only one worked. The “working” elevator took forever, constantly bumping, rattling, and shaking.
The “balcony”, advertised on their description, was unable to access due to being bolted shut.
There was no water in the pool, also advertised on the description.
We spoke with multiple employees at the desk in regard to no hot water, but the issue was never resolved. Taking a cold shower isn’t fun, but when it’s already in the 40s at night, and adding no water pressure and trickling shower head, the elongated shower to get the shampoo out of your hair is even more miserable.
I’ve never written a review at all, much less a negative review, but when spending almost $800.00 for a three night stay for our 25th anniversary, I don’t want others to make the same mistake we did.
