Das Brandywineriver Hotel erfüllt seinen Zweck als Schlafstätte sehr gut, auch das Frühstück ist für amerikanische Verhältnisse gut, wobei es mehr Obstauswahl und mehr Britaufstrich, verschiedene Marmeladen oder Köse geben könnte. Die Zimmer sind allerdings sehr hellhlrig. Schaut der Nachbar nebenan Fernsehen, hörst Du mit... Das Fitnessstudio ist in einem fensterlosen, nicht klimatisierten Raum untergebracht und es gab auch nur noch ein Laufband statt zwei. Nicht ideal für jemanden, der morgendlich den Spirt fest einplant. Das Personal war freundlich und die Zimmer sauber.

Thank You for your lovely review. We do offer much better fruits in the summer months when it is easy to purchase right now we are at the crossroads of what out there or not. Our gym is airconditioned but we still had the heat on last week as it went down to 40 on some nights and days. Again Thanks for your review!! Lisa Manager

Das Personal am Empfsng war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral mit kostenpflichtigen Parkplätzen 300m entfernt. Keinerlei Haltemöglichkeit (zum Auspacken) vor dem Hotel. Das Zimmer mit 2 Doppelbetten ist winzig und mit 2 E + 2 K eine logische Herausforderung,

I think you are thinking of the wrong hotel we do not charge for parking we have a large parking lot with free parking. Also our double rooms are large rooms, so I'm sorry if your thinking of the wrong hotel. Lisa Manager

Nettes Hotel für kurze Aufenthalte
Wir waren nur eine Nacht in dem Hotel; das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer sauber und ruhig. Einziges Manko: Das Frühstück war sehr spartanisch und praktisch nur mit süßen Zutaten -- ein einfaches, sehr amerikanisches Frühstück. Herzhaftes hat leider gefehlt, daher aus unserer Sicht für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht optimal, ausser man arrangiert sich mit einem auswärtigen Frühstück. Preis/Leistung war insgesamt OK.

Stayed at the lovely Brandywine River Hotel for my son’s graduation from WCU. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were so comfortable in our room and common areas of the hotel. The location is amazing! There are shops, cafes and restaurants surrounding the hotel. Definitely dine at Antica. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. We will be back!

Quiet, well-appointed rooms located in the bucolic farmland of Chadds Ford. There is an excellent Mexican place across the road and a terrific bakery serving maybe the best scones in PA, both in walking distance.

It was a great stay. The breakfast was also ver good for a continental breakfast. My only complaint was that the jacuzzi tub didn’t work. Despite that, I’d still stay there again. I would just call beforehand to make sure it worked.

I like how the security was at this property, codes sent to your phone, no key cards. Outside of the hotel is Beautiful, clean and festive. Troy, was amazing. He gave us dining options (walking distance and driving) which we really appreciated. Excellent stay, would come back and recommend.

Nice Stay
We liked most everything about the hotel. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The employees were pleasant and helpful. The only thing that concerned us was the coded, keyless entry. When we returned to the hotel late in the evening, we had our fingers crossed that there'd be no snafu getting in as there is no one at the front desk past 10 p.m. Fortunately, we had no problem!

We had a good experience at this hotel. Late check-in was easy through messages sent through text messages with door codes. The room was very clean and comfortable but there seemed to be little control over room temperature with radiant heat…we opened the window a little to reduce the room temperature. Interaction with the staff in the morning was pleasant and a breakfast of hard-boiled eggs, fruit, and pastry were just right to get us on our way. We would definitely stay here again. Good value and low stress. Just like staying at Mom’s 😊
