Lights in the room did not work at first. Maintenance had to fix that. The shuttle does not start running until 6 AM so I had to take an Uber.

This hotel is perfectly situated for walking access to a great shopping center and local/chain restaurants. It's also a lovely neighborhood, and offers easy access to Rt 28 and Dulles Airport. The hotel itself was clean and very comfortable, and breakfast was awesome! Lots of hot options available, and all delicious.

The room was very nice and spacious. The breakfast variety was amazing and everything was good. The renovations mentionned in other comments seemed to be over. The only down side for me was the temperature who was very cold, and maids would put it back down when we would crank it up a bit, and the gym was very small and totally freezing.

The stay was pleasant with the staff being polite and very professional. We were traveling with our two Shiba Inus and the staff made them feel just as welcomed as us humans. Our room was nice and clean, the breakfast buffet was pretty standard, clean, and hot. I must commend Hyatt Palace, as thery were going through a renovation, which they emailed us about. But during our stay, there was no loud noise, and signs were posted for wet paint, etc. Conveniently located for getting to main areas. I we would definitely stay there again.

I booked for a weekend getaway for my hubby and I with activities with planned on doing close by. The room was as expected from what I saw online and breakfast was good. They are doing some renovations, but it didn’t bother us or affect our stay. The staff was absolutely amazing! We’re trying to make it a point to get away more and do stuff together so I asked Ashmita and Carolina to put up decorations while we were out to surprise my. I told them exactly where the decorations were and told them to be creative with it and they did a phenomenal job!!! My husband loved the set up and I was extremely pleased. We’re very grateful and will stay again when we come back to the area

Stayed here due to proximity to office. Check in was easy but there's some construction work going on and it was very difficult for someone with hearing issues to hear the front desk agent. Room is spacious and clean. Heat was operated from in wall AC, need to pay attention to mode as the high temp setting is also available in cool mode. Breakfast was included but was not good. Hot menu items was cinnamon french toast sticks, eggs and crumbled bacon. Fruit bowl and coffee was good. Overall, good for a short stay.

Family stay.
Was staying at the hotel for a visit to DC area. Usually this chain is great. Even though the hotel is undergoing renovations cleanliness was not there. Guest elevator was not working only construction elevator was working. Dust everywhere. Breakfast area was not clean, same room is used for registration. Room was average. There was no soap in the room. Window was very drafty. Had to use extra blankets to stay warm. Hope that renovations will do the trick.

Not Clean and Did Not Meet Expectations
We were looking for a hotel with connecting rooms, a fridge in the rooms, and good reviews. This hotel said it had all three, but after booking when we called to be sure our rooms were connecting, we were told that our room (2 doubles) could not connect. We'd have to switch to a king, which meant having less beds for our large group. We were left with half of our family down the hall from us. The fridge was very important for us, yet neither fridge in our 2 rooms were cold. We called and were told all we could do is turn it to max coldness, which we had already done and it still did not keep our food cold at all. We had 2 rooms for 5 days and the beds were only made once during that time. Not all of our trash was taken out. Upon arrival, the bathroom had what appeared to be pee on the floor near the toilet in one of our rooms. We arrived late at night so we did not call then, thinking it would just be cleaned the next morning when housekeeping came. It was still there the next day. The included breakfast was so unappetizing that I did not go again after the first day and I am not a picky eater at all. Overall, this hotel was a huge disappointment and I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it to others.
