„While they have no control over the major lightning storm that took place while we were there, they did provide a safe and cozy environment for us to watch the light storm as it boomed and lite up the sky overhead. We were able to open the hidden bookshelves and watch the light show from the store front window. The only advice I would give is come with an umbrella or rain coat for unexpected weather and a portable fan as it is humid and hot outside and in the loft in the summer.“

"Stayed 10–11 August. Upon arrival, we were given the wrong room (one bed instead of the two queen beds booked). This was corrected after complaint. Later that evening, we returned to find dirt in the sink and the sink completely blocked. No maintenance at night – we were handed a plunger and told to fix it ourselves, which didn’t work. No other rooms were available. We were promised that our rate might be adjusted and that the assistant manager would call us the day after check-out. That call never happened. Polite staff, but the lack of maintenance support, failure to resolve problems, and unkept promises made this a very disappointing stay."
