  • Included with your bungalow is private access to two acres of beautiful gardens, and our hydrotherapy area: Outdoor shower, hot tub, steam sauna, and cold plunge pool. Indoors you'll enjoy a private library, kitchenette, and bathroom. The Beach room has a big-screen TV, recliners, painting supplies, a faux fireplace, and more. The bedroom has a full sized bed. During your stay you are the only guests. You have full private access to everything described. Hosts live next door for your security and any questions you may have. All are conveniently located for your Mt St. Helens adventure.. We are not suitable for children. If you need 2 beds let us know. There is a $25 charge for the additional bed. The place is in a world of its own, very lovely. Hot tub was amazing steam sauna was amazing and the sunrise with the cold plunge was great! No complaints, these guys do a great job. If I could say anything at all, it would be cool to have a way to get rid of mosquitoes I got bit to hell. lol other than that we had an awesome time out at the retreat. Cheers!!

A truly magical escape from everything-I found myself whispering to protect the serenity of the place. The hosts obviously have a passion for creating a beautiful space and a sense of whimsy that we enjoyed. The gardens are arboretum-level, the hydrotherapy facilities are perfect. The bungalow is thoughtfully appointed and beautifully decorated. This is the first time we have ever met a host, most of the time it is a terse “ here’s the code to get in” Instead, he walked us through the property and asked what they could help us with, explained they were always available, then disappeared into the gardens to leave us to ourselves. A perfect experience.

This was an amazing garden and relaxing couples get away. The massive walk through gardens were incredible with little sitting or lounging area all over. I was an incredible to have some diner, grab a drink to prepare for a hot out door private shower, hop in to the hot tub and top the night off in the Sunna. When you have a stressful job like I do, this melts all of it way. My biggest issue was the bed(s) were small then the queen at home and it was hard to get full comfortable to go to sleep right away, but I an a tall and big guy. I would fully recommend to anyone wanting to get away and unwind to stay here. Plus, Mt St Helens is just a short drive away. My fiancé and I will be back on day to enjoy again one day.

A wonderful place to stay! The place is private and the hosts were available on site but let us have our privacy. The garden was beautiful, even in winter. The hot tub and sauna were just what we needed and had a wonderful and private view of the garden. The home was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

We loved this little property. You could tell that a lot of love went into it, and the gardens are absolutely amazing! We really love that it was also pet friendly, so we could bring our willow and not have to worry at all.

Beautiful property! Gardens and hot tub and tranquil creeks are amazing! Great outdoor spaces for painting, eating and playing games. My only regret is that we were just passing through and didn’t have more time to enjoy the property. Excellent amenities, quiet, beautiful, very close to St. Helens, wonderful decorations and hosts. Even the coffee was good. Next time we’re in the area, we will be definitely looking at an extended stay.

Relaxing Water Spa

We drove up from Portland and although the drive wasn't long it really felt like we were out in the country. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. The hosts were informative, friendly and unobtrusive. I think staying 2 nights would have been even better than our 1.

We had a fantastic time at the garden retreat. Beautiful and serene. Our hosts were very helpful and clear in communication. The hydrotherapy was incredible. A note to future renters- bring flip flops! We did not bring suitable footwear for utilizing the water features at night. Robes and lots of towels were provided. We absolutely loved playing chess in the Africa room and watching nature docs on the big screen. Very close to wonderful views and hikes at Mt.St.Helen. Couldn’t recommend it more!

D&E were amazing!!! The pictures do NOT do this little slice of paradise justice. I am so happy to have found this gem, perfect place to relax release and recharge. I look forward to another visit, maybe spring time. Thank you David & Ellie our retreat was everything I had hoped for.
