Great family space

We were in town for a family wedding and a reunion. The house was spacious for a group of 8 with two little ones and was well equipped for preparing meals and for fun. The farm animals provided entertainment, as did the games and children’s books during our down time. If you are a light sleeper the rooster may wake you, but it was a minor annoyance compared to all the positives. The house was clean and comfortable in a safe and easy to access area.

Listing is misleading

Our group(all adults) picked this property because in the listing hot tub was mention so prominently. We were staying there for five nights and were all looking for relaxing evenings in the hot tub. We learned,while on the way therefrom en e-mail (an hour before checking time) that hot tub is not working properly but service was called to fix the problem. Thru our stay I was communicating with owner of the property to check on the progress. Unfortunately no one ever came to fix the tub so relaxing evenings in the hot tub did not happen. Also grill tank that was on the property was empty and I was told I can get a full one at the gas station(!). Our group asked for a discount because main part of our stay turned out to be not true-hot tub listed in the title of property was broken! After string of texts, owner stop and answering, so no discount for us, no hot tub during the stay and thank God we had our own little charcoal grill so we could grilled

Secluded Peaceful and Comfortable Property

Great place for a reunion of my siblings and spouses. Plenty of space to gather in small groups or all together. We enjoyed the pool table and the basement area to play games and the patio area to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning and meals outside as the weather was nice. Family reunion

We came to the area for a family get together and needed a place for myself and teenagers and my sisters family. We had kids from 5 to 17. Space was definitely a requirement! This place had it all! We had plenty of space for teens and younger kids. From the hot tub, to the farm animals, pool table and tvs in each room. Everyone was able to hang together or be in their own space. Want to cook? They had everything you needed. The host was easy to contact and very friendly as well. We highly recommend this location!

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Technology is obvious an important aspect as there per plenty of TVs and charging options for devices. We also loved the property as the family has farm pets which was an awesome experience. There were plenary of food and shopping options in the area and it's only 20 minutes from St Louis.

Great stop in St. Louis

Everything about our stay was great. The house is large and offers everyone their own space. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals. It’s off the beaten path yet just 15 minutes to anything you want in the city. Our dogs and kids loved the pig, dog, chickens, and horses! We even got some fresh eggs to bring home. Great stay!

We had 3 couples, a teen and toddler staying for a couple nights. It was very roomy and had plenty of room to spread out. The basement was great for watching movies and for the toddler playing with toys. Very clean and nice extras with nice hand soaps, coffee supplies, etc. Planning to stay again in the future and would definitely recommend!

Country like setting but only a few blocks from the main drag. The horses, chickens and pig on the property surprised us but kept to themselves. House was clean and owner communicated quicky.
