Karbani Inn besteht nur aus Container-Unterkünften, liegt im Brachland eines Gewerbegebiets und erinnert eher an eine Bauarbeiter-Unterkunft. Die "Zimmer" sind winzig, aber mit dem nötigsten ausgerüstet. Für kleines Geld ist das okay, ein Standard-Kettenmotel bietet jedoch mehr.

The room was clean and VERY small, good for 1 person, not much for 2. Breakfast on Saturdays is available at 10am when the app says 7am, it was Indian food served at a food truck parked at the property, not burritos as other reviews showed, we had reservations at the caverns at 10:30 so we couldn't stay for breakfast but they offer to prepare coffee if we wanted, we just ended going to a gas station and getting food there. If you are a free spirited person and doesn't care for luxury, this place is for you.

You are staying in a trailer that is divided up into three very small individual unit. Although all the amenities are here, it’s squished into a tiny space. Not enough room for two people. Thin walls.(I could hear my Neighbor coughing.) on a major highway. Bed was squished against the wall.

The room I had was very tiny but adequate. A double bed, not queen. The desk held the microwave. There is a mini fridge. A folding chair stored in the closet was the only thing to sit on besides the bed. They advertize continental breakfast. It was minimal. I just took coffee. Very basic. Very different.

This is quite and unusual place but perfect for our needs. It was clean and quiet…a small room but everything you need for a place to sleep and shower…clean and quiet. Owner was great and we were disappointed to miss the opening of her Indian Food food truck. Lots of beautiful cats roaming the property. They kept coming to stay so she said she’s get them fixed and they could stay. Don’t let the unusual photo scare you away. Just a good quiet, clean place to stay.

Be mindful of the directions when using maps. It routed us an hour out of the way thru a dark, isolated canyon with no wifi. Once we backtracked out of the canyon, the owner sent me her location and we found it. She is concerned and will get with tech to fix that. She checked us in with our late night arrival. The key card worked but didn’t open the door. Someone else came to assist us. Still couldn’t get the door to open with the card. We only stayed one night and the room was perfect for a short overnight stay. It was VERY cold, actually too cold so make an adjustment. Hot water and shower pressure was great. TV turned on but remote didn’t work. Bed was ok but comfortable enough. Towels were nice. The owner made us a small snack for breakfast but we wanted to try the burritos we had read about in the reviews. The price and accommodation was a great value. We were 30 minutes from Carlsbad caverns so it was an easy drive in the morning. That was convenient and why we chose this Inn for a short night .

A very unique motel designed to best accommodate single travelers. It is a SMALL room with a double bed tucked into a corner of the room. If all you want is a bed, TV, and shower at a low cost, especially for single travelers - this will work for you. Not good for couples as you have to climb over your partner to get in/out of bed. The Wi-Fi was basically non-existent. The owner said that the metal structure blocked the routers from working properly. A breakfast offering is advertised, but this basically consists of two types of cereal, a bananna, and a granola bar tucked into the corner of the office trailer. The owner is very pleasant and the property serves well the oil field workers who are the majority of those staying at the property. VERY DISAPPOINTED that this property had an 8.8/10 rating on Expedia. That rating does NOT properly represent the relative value of the property.

The room was small, but it had everything I needed. It was very clean. The breakfast was outstanding. The owner was so helpful. She answered all of my questions and made suggestions about where to have supper and go grocery shopping. Plus their cats made me feel right at home.

Very small room so felt claustrophobic- however the shower was the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately no coffee maker so that was my fault for not checking. No breakfast. It would be a good room for a single person but just way too small for 2 people. The owner was very kind so that helped.

Compared to the brand-name hotels further down the road, this inn is basic and might seem questionable as you turn into the dirt lot and see the trailers. HOWEVER, the lovely couple who runs this place is so friendly and helpful. Our room was small but fit a queen sized bed, a desk, a wardrobe, refrigerator, microwave, and the sink. And, everything - the room, the bathroom, towels and sheets - was super clean! Breakfast was in the front trailer, where check-in is. There were two types of cereal, coffee, granola bars, cookies, and fruit. In the fridge were milk, apple juice, cranberry juice and yogurt. The owner boiled hot water and brought the kettle out to us. This is a great option for more affordable accommodations in Carlsbad where the hotels tend to be pricey.

First the positives: Clean; thank you. A/c & refrigerator worked well. Other than that, this facility was unbelievable. An inn? $96 for this property? What looked like a storage container with tiny rooms was located in a huge dirt lot. The room was so small that there was no sink in the bathroom! The pictures online gave a totally unrealistic picture. FALSE ADVERTISING: 1) The manager insisted that all the beds in the facility were queen size; they were NOT. Our bed was a full size, much smaller than our queen bed at home. 2) Breakfast stated online to open at 6 a.m; we were told it was available starting at 7:30 a.m. This problem was also stated in an online review. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR ERRONEOUS ONLINE INFORMATION.

This was an unexpected, unique property, which is something we love about road-tripping. Although smaller than most hotel rooms, it provided everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. The best part was the owner’s (Bonnie) hospitality. We enjoyed our conversation with her at breakfast, where she blessed us with homemade burritos (as well as other breakfast items/snacks for the road).

It was a nice clean room that was quite and we'll maintained. The staff was hard to understand and there were cats everywhere outside the room, but overall it was a nice place to stay especially considering the price.

Wow what a fantastic place to stay. Where do I even begin. The location, perfect. Just a quick drive to the Carlsbad Caverns (though they were closed when we went). The place was small but clean and honestly, if your just staying a day or two while you explore, you really don't need that much room plus bathroom was plenty spacious and bed was very comfy. The lady and and young man who greeted us at check in was sweet and had breakfast burritos for us the next morning. What hospitality! We will be staying again next year when we are able to check out the caverns. Our hot water did run out quickly but we still managed to shower just fine.
