The reviewer who rated us did not show up, did not see the Motel rooms and suites, did not stay at the Motel and did not even make an attempt to cancel their reservation. In fact, long after business hours at around 11:35 PM, we called to find out if they still planning to come to the Motel, because the Motel's office operates from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. A man who answered the call told us that they supposedly drove in but did not bother to go inside the Motel because they did not like the way outside looked.There is an old saying: "Don't judge a book by its cover". We feel it is unfair to the Motel and its Staff who are working really hard to keep the Motel rooms and suites pleasant and clean to be rated and judged by somebody who never even stepped inside the Mote's rooms and suites, and never stayed at the Motel.

Hello Peter,Thank you for a detailed review. Prior to Covid-19, we were about to repair and renovate the motel. But as Covid-19 struck, all of our plans were ruined. In fact, all of the contractors could not do any work, as they were non-essential, and on top of this, all of the permits had expired. So that was the bad news. But the good news is that we are now on the way to recovery as we began the full repair and renovation process of the motel. In fact, we are putting all of our efforts around the clock to make the transition as great and fast as possible.

We are sorry if you fell some sort of bad smell in the room you stayed at. Perhaps the smell came from the one of our nearby neighbours thought the air conditioning unit. However, let us assure you that there are no mold or anything else of that nature in the room as we always working hard to fully clean and sanitise the rooms to the maximum and at the highest professional level on a daily basis.

We apologize for the issues you have found. We definitely will repair them immediately. As for renovation, we just began the process, which unfortunately does not happen overnight. However, we are doing everything possible to speed up the process and make all of our rooms beautiful, comfortable, and pleasant.

We apologize for the outside appearance, as we are currently in the process of repairing and renovating the Motel. As for the guestroom the person stayed at, there were no water stains on the ceiling, and the carpet is actually thoroughly cleaned. There is no paint peeling inside the guestroom, but there is a bit of paint pealing outside the room.

This is not true! We have many witnesses and video recordings of exactly what happened. These people, upon arrival, asked to see the rooms first. We gladly gave them the keys to take a look and check the rooms prior to registration. They checked the rooms and told us they did not like the rooms. In such a situation, just as any hotel would and should, we offered them our best premium Studio Suite located just behind the main section of the Motel. At first, they refused, which was strange, since we offered them our best upgrade at no extra charge. But then they agreed to come to see it. Being always kind and polite, we took them to see the Premium Studio Suite. But just about halfway walking toward the Motel's house where one of the fully modern and beautifully appointed Premium Studio Suites is located, the man (there were a man and a lady) suddenly start screaming, insulting and cursing us, saying that that's not a Motel. But it is part of Motel 100%. In front of the Motel's house, there were very nice people visiting their mom and relative who stays at the one of Motel's Premium Studio Suites. We tried to explain to the couple that these were visitors to see their mom and relative and that they are absolutely fine people, but the man kept his aggression going by insulting, screaming, and cursing us in front of many of the Motel's guests and visitors. We were about to call the police, but they left the property. We charged them only the cancellation fee, which is equivalent to a one-night stay according to the Motel's Rules and Policies Cancellation Policy.

We apologize for the external appearance as our Motel currently is under renovation and repairs process. However, many of the guestrooms are already upgraded and many more will be upgraded soon.

Sorry, but it's not so much soundproofing as some people tend to stay up longer and listen to music or watch TV at a high sound volume. We will ask the guest to lower the sound volume after 10:00 PM.
