Welcome to this comfortable 2-bedroom home in Fish Hoek, a laid-back coastal town in Cape Town’s Southern Peninsula. This space is ideal for families or friends looking for a casual, well-equipped base to enjoy beach days, coastal drives, and quality time together.



🛋️ Inside the Home

The open-plan lounge and dining area is perfect for catching up, playing games, or winding down around the fireplace on cooler evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday meals, with everything you need to feel right at home. A sunny back nook offers a quiet spot to relax with a book or cup of coffee.



🛏️ Bedrooms & Comfort

With two bedrooms, 100% cotton linen, and thoughtful touches throughout, the house is designed to be easy, warm, and fuss-free: perfect for longer stays or weekend getaways. If you’re traveling with a little one, we can set up a baby cot on request.



🏡 Outdoor Living

Outside, you’ll find a saltwater splash pool and shaded dining area: great for lazy afternoons, a refreshing dip, or laid-back meals with loved ones. It's a comfortable space to enjoy good weather and simple moments.



🔌 Loadshedding Backup

The house is equipped with a battery system that keeps the lights, Wi-Fi, and select plugs running during loadshedding. The kitchen remains connected to the grid, but hot water is available via a gas geyser.



🎨 A Note on the Decor

The home is in the process of being updated and will soon be known as the Fish Hoek Funk House. We're simply refreshing the decor (no building or renovations), and you're welcome to book as normal: the space remains fully functional, and we’ll update photos as each room is completed.



📍 Location

Located in a quiet residential area, just minutes from Fish Hoek beach and other South Peninsula favourites like Kalk Bay and Simon’s Town, this home is a great base for your next Cape Town break.



Important: Admin is boring so we are sorry about this but to remain compliant, we do require that guests complete a pre-checkin which includes uploading your Identity document / passport, verify with a selfie and sign our terms and conditions. For long stay guests: we offer a change of linen and towels after 7 days. We can assist with an in-stay clean at an additional cost. This will be communicated should the service be needed, once you check in.

Please note due to the self catering nature of this property, amenities will not be replenished during your stay.

-----Glencairn beach: surfing & kite-surfing with a great tidal pool to the side

-----Longbeach: very flat so perfect for SUPping, kayaking, learning to scuba dive and to just relax

-----WatersEdge: a secret beach! Great for swimming as it's surround by a reef and it's very sheltered from winds.

-----Windmill beach: great from snorkeling and diving



PLEASE NOTE the following:

The area is a quiet neighbourhood and as such we have to request that you please respect the neighbours of Fish Hoek. No loud music and shouting after 11pm on weekends and 9pm in the week would be greatly appreciated. This is a NO PARTY venue!

The Neighborhood:

Fish Hoek is a charming coastal town located on the Cape Peninsula in South Africa. Known for its picturesque beaches, scenic mountains, and tranquil atmosphere, Fish Hoek offers visitors a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. The town is also home to a variety of local shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike.



Getting Around:

Although the house is central, we believe that it would be better to rent a car HOWEVER, Uber is available in the area. There are grocery delivery apps if you decide not to hire a car and rather use Uber. Uber just won't take you inside Cape Point etc but there are tours available for that. The house is also about a 10 min walk to the train station and the blue train is awesome, safe and clean. This train will take you all the way to the CBD for an extraordinarily low price of around R20 return per ticket.

- smoking only outdoors

- no parties / excess noise and shouting

- no pets

- lost keys = R500 replacement fee

- you will be required to go through a guest verification process: see below.
