The towels were supposedly clean, they needed replaced, sheet was dirty, I had to sleep on top of the covers, the mattress over was disgusting

Do not recommend.
Do not recommend this house to anyone. It was dirty, the ac did not work and was covered in ants. The kitchen had them, the bathroom, the shower. The owner is not responsive. I stayed a total of 5 minutes before walking out.

The house is very nice. I was expecting and hoping to cook. There is no stove and no cooking utensils, so that was disappointing. There is one pan that plugs in and I made it work, but it would have been good to know beforehand. There are some other pans but you can't use them. I might suggest a hot plate. Other than that, very nice.

The cleanest of the cottage. Comfortable and quiet. The car drug on the driveway so a leveling might help. Hope to stay again sometime. Reasonable cost.

Me and my fiance has stayed at this property 3 times. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when visiting cape Girardeau. The owners were very friendly and responded to any concerns quickly.

Cozy Tiny Home
We loved staying in this tiny home. It is a cozy little home away from home. I took my air fryer with me considering there is only a microwave to cook in. We have stayed here twice and will definitely return in rhe future !!!

Great location for walking around downtown and checking out the murals along the River. House is small but enough space for two. The two room air conditioners controls were not working properly making it hard to adjust temperature. Toilet paper was absent but host was prompt in bringing some.

Great Location in Downtown Cape!
This was the perfect place to stay for the night! It’s close enough to downtown to walk to the shops and restaurants, and it had everything we needed to crash there for the night.

Cute tiny house in the historic downtown area of Cape Girardeau about a block from the river and a few blocks from the famous bridge and River Campus of Southeast Missouri State University. The house has a bedroom with a futon, tv, crib and closet with robes, kitchen has a table with three chairs, a Keurig with coffee k-cups and snacks like oatmeal packets and popcorn, sets of two plates and bowls and mugs and glasses. There is not a stove/oven, but there was a microwave and refrigerator. Ice maker did not make ice so we bought a bag of ice down the street from a gas station. Small bathroom with a shower, towels, lots of lotions and shampoo and a hairdryer. The tv has a roku stick which had Netflix, Spotify, etc. This downtown area was near the bars, so there were cars driving around late at night which was loud (bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper). Parking was out front on the street. Overall, it was nice house in a beautiful area.

It was very enjoyable experience. The owner is very considerate and the neighbors are friendly. One very comfy queen bed, one pull out futon, one pack-n-play. Four pillows, several flat sheets, several small throw blankets and one extra comforter. There is a wonderful waterfall shower head included in the beautiful tiled shower! Everything is small, but not cramped because it is all so well organized within a very functional layout. The cottage is stocked with a Keurig and K-Cups (bring your own coffee fixings). There are a few dishes and coffee cups for use. The cottage is also stocked with non-perishable snacks. The street was very quiet. You're only one block walk away from Broussard's and the Riverfront Wall Living Art Mural, but far enough away to not be bothered by the main street's night-life noise. I will definitely stay again! The owner gives you a code for the front door's only bolt, you don't need to keep track of any keys. The only suggestion I would have is for a non-keyed dead bolt to be added for extra sense of security at night. ~ Ana

Relaxing atmosphere in this cozy cottage!
I felt right at home and I loved the location which was close proximity to the downtown restaurants, shops and so close to the beautiful Mississippi River! Would book this place again in a heartbeat!
