Betten werden größer angegeben als ist. Minibar ist gut wird tgl. nachgefüllt Sekt, Wein, Bier und Nüsse. Leider sehr wenig Schränke, man lebt aus dem Koffer. Nicht auszudenken Familie mit Kindern. Auf Deutsche sind sie nicht eingestellt. Personal ist sehr nett. Getränke rund um die Uhr ist mit einen guten Angebot ist gegeben. Rund um das Hotel ist keine Shoppingmeile. Strand bzw. Badestelle sehr klein, gleich rechts daneben fährt die Fähre zur Insel.

Es ist alles in Ordnung, das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand, das Wasser ist auch sauber, es gibt wegen des danebenliegenden Kanal aber Strömungen, der Badebereich ist aber eingezäunt. AI bietet wirklich alles auf 3 Bars die aber um 23h sperren. 24h kann man aber auch Snacks und Sofdrinks im 1. Stock haben, was vor allem für frühe Abflüge oder Ausflüge hilfreich ist. Über das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis zu ca. € 170/Tag lässt sich allerdings streiten. Alles in allem kann man das Hotel vorbehaltslos empfehlen.

Nice experience for my first trip to cancun. Two bars, for all you can drink. The gym is decent, as well as the stram room and Sauna. The guests rarely used the gym and steam room so i was able to enjoy them as much as i knew how to while there. Also at a walkable* distance to one of the malls. *walkable distance is subjective

My husband and I stayed at Occidental Costa Cancun for 8 nights. I really enjoyed my time there. The room was nice and clean, and housekeeping did a great job every day. Additionally, the dinner served at both the Italian and Mexican restaurants was delicious. However, the resort was relatively small and didn't offer many activities.

Great vacation, smaller hotel but very good. Me thing, their food needs to be hotter. Many dishes that should be hot were served cold.

Overall stay was good. However, there are many issues that could be improved upon. Starting with the pool, the towel chair saving should be eliminated. Half of the chairs did not have people in them for most of the day, but towels blocking the chairs for others to use. Both jet tubs in the spa room were not functional. Hot tub was not hot and the jets did not work. Cold tub (60f) was room temperature. Only 1 of 3 treadmills was functional in fitness room. ATM was not functional for my entire stay. I had extremely noisey neighbors, not the fault of hotel, but all doors slam extremely hard. There are no dampening effects. Most restaurants were good. Seafood restaurant was very small portions, but the Italian one was excellent. Staff was very helpful and nice. If you are going for a beach experience, go elsewhere. It is on a channel with a very small and rocky beach.

First time to Cancun and this resort, it did not disappoint. Wonderful views, amazing staff, killer drinks. The food was okay at the buffet, but really good at the restaurants on site. Cleanliness was outstanding. I highly recommended the Occidental Costa Cancun Thank you for an amazing experience

This was our first time at an all inclusive and it was a good experience. Food options were delicious and staff were very attentive. Some food options could be filled more often as they got cold but that was only for a couple options. Our hotel room was decent as well. The A/C started leaking on our second day creating a large puddle in the front of the room, but they sent someone down and he was able to fix the issue quickly. Great customer service. Hotel beach is very nice, though it can get very busy if you don’t reserve a spot earlier. Pros are the hotel is very close to the ferry required to go to Isla Mujeres and the hotel pool is very big and lots of space. Staff in the tour booking area were very helpful as well and helped us book a tour to Chichén Itzá which was excellent. Overall, a good experience at Occidental Costa Cancun.

We read with surprise your opinion regarding the room we accommodate you as all rooms reserved for new arrivals are per standard and double-checked by our head of housekeeping to ensure that everything is functional and spotless for our guests we were not performing to our usual standard on this occasion. We are happy to know your complete satisfaction with our beach location was of your liking, as you mentioned it has the option to board the ferry a short distance to visit Isla Mujeres, which has one of the best beaches in the Mexican Caribbean, having the opportunity to enrich your visit to the destination. The resort was small, but perfect for the family to hang by the pool and relax. Restaurant options were limited but for the price, it was more than acceptable. The staff was very friendly and the resort was clean. The rooms were simple and the beds, linens, towels were not of fine quality but they were clean and again that is what was expected. There were not a lot of activities to do at the resort itself, but excursions were available offsite. We always felt safe and we had no problems or complaints.
