The space
Nestled on nearly 3 private wooded acres, Scarlet Ember Retreat is a luxury cabin designed for relaxation, connection, and adventure. Perched on a scenic ridge near Red River Gorge, the cabin offers peaceful forest views, a spacious wraparound deck, and the privacy guests crave.

Inside, you’ll find soaring wood ceilings, an open-concept living area, a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooking, and two spacious bedrooms featuring King beds for a restful night’s sleep. The living room fireplace, large windows, and warm modern finishes create the perfect atmosphere for unwinding after a day of exploring the Gorge.

Step outside and soak in the private hot tub overlooking the trees, get a good sweat in the barrel sauna, enjoy morning coffee on the deck, or gather around the fire pit beneath the stars. For added fun there is a 12 foot putt putt activity, including LED glow in the dark balls for a fun and unique experience. A seasonal creek runs through the property below, adding to the peaceful mountain setting.

The cabin is easily accessible under normal conditions, though AWD/4WD is recommended during severe weather. A seasonal creek runs through the property below and may be heard depending on recent rainfall. High speed Wi-Fi is provided throughout the cabin, though cellular service can vary by carrier in the Gorge. Firewood is not provided, so it is recommended to pick some up at the Ace Hardware store in town, or to bring your own. This is a true mountain/forest environment: Expect to encounter occasional wildlife and insects. Wildlife including deer, turkey, and other native species are commonly seen on the property. No trailers permitted.
