Hi Andrew, I apologize on behalf of the entire Hartstone Team that your reservation was cancelled. We are currently experiencing system failures while switching reservation systems which has caused multiple overbookings. We are working hard to catch them as soon as possible. Unfortunately your reservation was one that was missed. As far as compensation I encourage you to reach out to our front desk team between 11am - 3pm est so we can compensate you fairly.

Dear Cassandra, Thank you for your review. We appreciate your constructive criticism, though not completely accurate. While you were a guest at the Inn, you did bring a few housekeeping concerns to our attention. Upon hearing them, we sent a housekeeper to your room as soon as she arrived - shortly after speaking with you. She happily went above and beyond our regular deep cleaning and cleaned every item that you requested. After doing so, management checked in to see if you were happy and you said there were no complaints. We always strive for guests satisfaction and thought yours had been met. Our Comphy brand guests are highly rated, most guests love and often ask where they can purchase them. We are sorry that you did not feel the same. Our parking lot, though small, does have a spot for every room - so there should never be a need to park in our neighbors lot. As we have a variety of rooms - they all have a variety of views. As well, we are located in the heart of Camden - within walking distance of the beauty of the Harbor. We do not advertise otherwise. Staff is on duty until 8pm or 930 every evening, dependent on when the restaurant is open. As well, we have management living on site and an emergency after hours number that guests may call should they need. Again, our apologies that you felt this way about your time with us. If we would have known while you were here, we would have helped rectify it further. However, as stated above, you told us that you were quite happy with your room/.stay. We will use your comments/photos as further training to our existing staff and hope you enjoyed your trip otherwise to midcoast Maine.

Dear Mary, Thank you for your review. As you are aware from staying here, we have a very small dining room. We try to do our best to accommodate every guest wanting to dine with us - however, we simply do not have the tables. We do offer a full curbside menu which has many delicious meals. This was available to you during your stay and guests are able to enjoy these meals in the comfort of their rooms or any of our beautiful common areas. As with most places nationwide, we are short staffed due to the global pandemic. It is a very difficult time for most employers to find staffing right now. Our team works extremely hard and tries our very best to ensure our guests have a wonderful stay. Thank you again for your feedback - we will use it to continue to enhance our customer relations.

Dear Esther, Thank you for your feedback. While we are located on Route 1, we do have white noise machines in most rooms and ear plugs available on request. As well, we have two additional properties located a block from the main inn and not on the main street. The next time you stay with us, please inquire about lodging in one of these rooms - they are likely more suitable for light sleepers. Thank you!
