We spent a bit more than a week in the house, 4 singles and a couple on a climbing trip. The bedrooms are spacious and each has a bathroom, which is great. The kitchen is great, and the lovely dining room table made for fun evening meals. Conveniently located near supermarkets. We found restaurants near the house uninteresting and north going to. The house had recently been renovated, which may be why the heat wasn't working the first couple nights (very cold, end of December), but the owner and a neighbor were helpful in fixing that, as was an engineer in our group. We couldn't have hot water on both sides of the house and the heat going at the same time--still some work to do there. Also, the fireplace needs some work--the house got quite smokey from the fireplace. Owners might want to add some art and otherwise somehow make the place feel a bit more charming. Multi-colored lights in each room were strange--none of us loved them but that's a matter of personal taste.
