Gemütliches A-Frame mit Sandstrand - Stoneledge Lakehouse

  • Willkommen im StoneLedge Lakehouse – einem gemütlichen A-Frame-Haus mit einem beeindruckend langen, 70 Fuß breiten Sandstrand an einem privaten See, der sich für alle Wassersportarten eignet. Es liegt etwas außerhalb der Stadt Cadillac und ist nur wenige Minuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, bietet aber dennoch einen ruhigen und privaten Rückzugsort. Die Gegend ist bekannt für Wandern, Golf, Seen, Spazierwege, Radfahren, Eisfischen, Schneemobilfahren und Skifahren (Caberfae: 25 Minuten und Crystal Mountain: 45 Minuten) – perfekt für alle Jahreszeiten!

    Wir sind hier, damit ihr euch während eures Aufenthalts wie zu Hause fühlt – bei Fragen könnt ihr euch gerne an uns wenden, und wir hoffen, dass ihr eure Zeit im wunderschönen Norden Michigans genießt!

    Gäste haben während ihres Aufenthalts Zugang zum gesamten Haus. Bitte beachtet, dass die Garage nicht zur Nutzung durch Gäste zur Verfügung steht.

    Die Einfahrt bietet Platz für etwa 4 Autos. Bitte beachtet, dass auf dem Rasen absolut nicht geparkt werden darf, da sich das Sickergrubenfeld im Vorgarten befindet und das Parken darauf die Kläranlage beschädigen kann.

    Dieses Haus wurde gut gepflegt und unser Ziel ist es, eure Erwartungen zu übertreffen! Das Haus ist 1500 Quadratfuß groß und verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer:

    - 1 Kingsize-Bett (Hauptschlafzimmer) mit Balkon
    - 1 Queensize-Bett und ein Einzelbett
    - 1 Queensize-Bett mit zwei Einzel-Etagenbetten (Etagenbettzimmer)
    - Zusätzliche Schlafmöglichkeit im offenen Loft mit einem Einzelausziehbett

    Küche und Esszimmer sind voll ausgestattet und bereit für Gäste. Das Haus bietet von verschiedenen Zimmern aus eine außergewöhnliche Aussicht. Vom Steg aus lässt es sich hervorragend angeln. Die Ausblicke im ganzen Haus sprechen für sich.

    * Das Haus verfügt über eine Ring-Türklingel an der Vorderseite mit integrierter Kamera*

    Der Steg steht von Ende Mai bis Ende September zur Verfügung.

We had an incredible stay! Our hosts were easy to communicate with and always responded quickly. It was the perfect setup for our group of 6 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 infants. The house itself was clean and well stocked with many amenities. This made traveling with little ones so much easier.The real highlight was the private beach area. It was absolutely perfect for the kids, and we were thrilled to find it clean with not a lot of seaweed. We had a blast using the kayaks, fishing boat, and the fire pit in the evenings. We truly loved everything about this property and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!

The location of this property was great, and we really enjoyed having direct access to the beach. We spent a lot of our time outdoors swimming, fishing, and taking advantage of the waterfront, which made for a fun and relaxing stay.Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the house was disappointing. The countertops and floors were dirty, and there was sand on much of the furniture when we arrived. While the outdoor space was enjoyable, it could also use some maintenance, and the yard would benefit from a general cleanup.Overall, the location and beach access were the highlights of our trip, but the cleanliness and upkeep of the property did not meet our expectations.

Stayed to snowboard at caberfae, nice quiet lake property, lots of places to sleep, will definitely be back during the summer months to enjoy the scenery.

We were in town for a hockey tournament. They allowed us to come early to drop off our luggage and they allowed us to check out late as we made the championship game. We haven't stayed in a lot of houses, but this was one of the good ones. Would recommend them if asked!!

Great little place!

This was a perfect set up for 3 families here visiting for a hockey tournament. Very comfortable and a nice, quiet area. Hosts were very accommodating, neighbors were friendly and close to downtown Cadillac. Would stay here again!

The house was the perfect size and very comfortable. The owner was very responsive when we had questions and was an awesome home base for our weekend of skiing at caberfae. Had pretty much every amenity and was one of the nicest places weve stayed at. Would love to stay here again next time around.

The house was as described, check in was easy. Hosts were great at getting back when messaged. We hand a wondeful stay. Would greatly recommend. We all said we found a lake that had fish! It was nice to catch one for a change.

Quaint getaway on the lake

This lake front cabin is absolutely adorable. It has literally everything you could possibly need to make your stay away the best. It even had kayaks which was a lovely surprise. Lots of space for probably 10 people. I’m coming back next year for sure with more friends.

Relaxing

Having lost my dad in April, and having my moms Alzheimers spiraling out of control, I needed something relaxing. Sitting at the lake literally seeing the fish jump was exactly what I needed. Peace and quiet was so nice.

Relaxing cottage getaway

It was a comfortable cottage with lots of space for eating around the table and plenty of space for our family to play. We loved being able to have coffee on the deck and watch the kids play in the sand and fish off the dock. We enjoyed kayaking around the lake, swimming and fishing. My grandson had a lot of luck with the bass and bluegill’s. It was a beautiful lake to spend our vacation at and was close enough to Cadillac to run in for supplies or a night out. We would love to come back and stay. The owners were very nice and answered all our questions in a timely manner. Even left us a gift!

Feb Ski trip!

Came to Cadillac for a weekend ski trip with our teenagers. Loved the cottage! It's about 25 mins from Caberfae but worked fine for us. The property is on a beautiful little lake and is a unique A-frame. Very cute. Only one minor thing that was a slight inconvenience - the drive hadn't been plowed in a bit so we had to do some shoveling to load/unload upon arrival and 4WD was a must to park in and out. BUT it is Michigan in winter so...Otherwise it was a lovely stay. The kids loved the bunk room and the loft. Danced and sang with the convenient Alexa. :) Coffee maker is spot on and we enjoyed the sunroom in the mornings. Communication with the host was exceptional. Would definitely stay there again!

Not swimmable, but nice beach

We were extremely disappointed that the water in front of the cottage was not swimmable at all. There was an extremely small (4x6ft) that was ankle deep where we could step into the water but the rest was covered in lily pads and EXTREMELY mucky (to the point you sink 12 inches). However, there was a nice sandy beach area to build sand castles and lay out. The saving grace for us was the two kayaks. There was a row boat as well, but no oars. The cottage itself was absolutely perfect for our group. We had three couples (one with a 7 year old) and we each had our own area. There was plenty of living room space, a nice dining area for all of us, and the washing machine and dryer handy for our 9-day stay. The owners were very accommodating and kind when we had to add a few dates, however, a welcome book or guide to the cottage would have been nice just to know how to work the thermostat, the check-out procedures, etc.

Enjoyable Stay

We were very pleased with our stay at this property. We were a group of 8 - 4 adults and 4 children (ranging from 2 years old to 7 years old). This home provided plenty of space for our group to sleep, relax, and have fun! The older children really loved the loft room. The sandy beach was perfect for playing, and we had excellent luck fishing all around the lake. It was wonderful to have lots of little extras provided throughout the rental like welcome goodies, dish soap, hand soap, new dish sponges, paper towel, etc. There were two kayaks, a rowboat, corn hole, extra life jackets and sand toys (although we had brought our own) for use in addition to a well-stocked game closet. The location is ideal - the road and neighborhood were very quiet. For our group, the lake was not great swimming: our older kiddos weren't comfortable swimming out into the lake past the vegetation/lily pads. However, there was a bit of sandy space to wade in and let younger kids splash before the lily pads. Kenwood Heritage Park (less than 10 minutes away) js great for school-age kids to swim in. Still, we loved Stone Ledge Lake for fishing and kayaking. It was peaceful, beautiful, and perfect to wade in. The check-in and check-out process was easy, and communication was great. The property was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We would return here without hesitation! 5 stars.

Exactly what we were looking for!

Great location! Relaxing spot on a private lake with easy access to Cadillac for restaurants and other fun activities. We really appreciated the available kayaks for relaxing cruises around the lake.

Relaxing Lake front Cottage

A great place for family to have a relaxing week. This cottage is perfect for a family with teens or as it gives everyone their own space and plenty of room to set and enjoy playing games and eating together. Don't forget your fishing pole and worms. Thanks again Jack for the stay.
