The property was well taken care of the unit itself was average although it needs some attention to the bathroom. I have seen much nicer bathrooms. This one had a lot of rust on shower rod and door sticks very bad and it was a handicap accessible room so the doors should work very easily not, be difficult

Did not like the fact that you could not put security deposit on a credit card must be cash only nowadays most people don’t carry cash. That’s kind of an inconvenience and they really should do maintenance on the property. One of the most important observations was that they didn’t have any luggage cart. All reputable hotels have luggage carts. So we had to struggle with our bags and I’m disabled!

Never checked in, they require a $100 cash deposit for my dog to stay there, no one informed me until I arrived after four hours drive, and they would NOT accept a credit card for the deposit, and the desk clerk lied, saying my dog wasn't allowed to stay, that he acceded the 36 kg (80 lbs.) weight limit, claiming the limit was 50 lbs., my dog weigh 71 pounds. WORST experience of my 69 year life at a hotel, will never book a Red Roof Inn hotel room again!

The situation you described regarding the deposit charge and the pet limit advise is truly regrettable and I am sincerely sorry for the impression this left with you. It is important to note the 100 deposit is not for pets as our Red Roof brand is known for where pets stay free! The deposit is charged in cash for incidentals and is refundable at check-out where you receive the physical cash back as opposed to a refund to a card which would take up to 14 business days to reflect. In regards to your pet, the pet policy applies for Red Roof Inn and Red Roof PLUS+ locations where one family pet not exceeding 80 pounds is permitted at no additional charge. Whilst I am not privy to the circumstances surrounding the interaction between you and the front office staff and the weight of your pet, your concerns will be reviewed further in an effort to address the issues you highlighted so no other guest has this same experience. There is a $100 deposit cash only that is required to stay if you use your debit card to book the room if you would’ve told me a major credit card I would’ve had to go get the $100 cash that I get back the next day very interesting hotel experience. Also on check out before they let you check out they send somebody to your room to verify that you didn’t do something to your room not quite sure what their past experience was, but maybe they need to not pre-judge all people that stay

Everything was decent except for the ridiculously loud people next to us. Up til midnight and back up at 7am. My kids barely slept. It was terrible and they contacted by the front desk person to quiet down but nothing changed.

For the price, not bad
There is only one door that opens to that floor on the outside, and when that door opens, it creates a vacuum to all the other doors around that opening. It would just take a little insulation around the doors on the inside to keep the doors from rattling every single time the outside door was open. Could be fixed very easily. The room was very clean and housekeeping did a good job of freshening the room. If you’re trying to find a budget hotel, this might be the one.

We were at a wedding in the area and the Red Roof Buena helped make it easier for us to book 3 rooms without feeling we couldn't give a gift. Turned out to be a lovely motel with clean and pleasant rooms. pretty quiet considering how busy it was, which was nice. all in all, I would definitely recommend
