The location of the hotel is just perfect and the vieuw onto the Grand Place is great. The staff is very friendly, uncomplicated and helpful. The breakfast on the other side of the Grand Place is good though there is no buffet. Somebody who likes musli or fruit will be disappointed. The hotel needs renovation but everything functioned.

The hotel offers you one of the best views in Brussels. Its staff is great prople. I can only recommend. The only problem is the sound isolation, you might hear a little bit of your neighboring guests if they are loud.

Beste Lage, nette Leute, aber etwas abgewohnt
Wenn man eincheckt hat man erst Bedenken: ein etwas muffiger Gang, ein altersschwacher Aufzug. Das Zimmer war aber ok und vor allem sauber. Das Highlight dieses Hotels ist natürlich die Lage direkt am Grande Place. Frühstück Gab’s per Gutschein im benachbarten Café (vielleicht wegen Corona). Ich würde dort wieder buchen.

Dear Sir, we are sorry you don't liked our hotel. Maybe the cause it's was the small economical room you rent. If it's was that room , Is true , the room is new but the view on court is not so nice. Den Grand Place zu Füßen..
Toller Ausblick über den Grand Place, wenn man teureres Zimmer bucht. Belgisches Frühstück gegenüber war toll. Ab 7pm schließt die Rezeption , aber es wird Einlass organisiert. Nichts für Lärm- und Lichtempfindliche!

Mehr Schein als Sein und viel zu teuer.
Die Lage ist super, Frühstück im Restaurant am anderen Ende des Platzes ist auch ok. Das Hotel verfügt angeblich über 4 Restaurants; ich musste sofort gehen als ich nach meiner Ankunft ein Bier ohne Essen bestellen wollte. Für die Hotelfotos muss ein Profifotograf mit viel Photoshopping nachgeholfen haben. Der Eindruck der Fotos täuscht. Die Rezeption (eher Arbeitstisch, belegt mit Unterlagen) befindet sich in einer dunklen Ecke am Ende eines langen schmalen Gangs. Als Gast habe ich keine Möglichkeit eine Tasche abzustellen, wenn ich ein- oder auschecke, höchstens auf dem abgenutzten unhygienischen Teppichboden. Das Bett war in Ordnung, Laminatboden im Zimmer auch ok, mehr kann man dort aber nicht erwarten. Als Bettbeleuchtung dient eine wackelige Schreibtischlampe, bei der der obere Teil mit Glühbirne immer wieder nach unten kippt. Das Bad ohne Fenster ist extrem klein, uralte Fliesen, fleckige Fugen, Miniablage, unhygienische Wanne, schlechte Beleuchtung, altes Miniwaschbecken mit Sprung. Ich mochte gar nichts anfassen, mir fehlen die Worte dafür. Ich frage mich wie das Hotel zu den vielen guten Bewertungen kommt. Von Wohlfühlen oder fairem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis keine Spur. Bezahlt habe ich 153 EUR, was für diese Qualität weit überteuert ist. Darüberhinaus glaubt das Hotel im Recht zu sein, wenn sie dafür eine Rechnung über lediglich 123 EUR ausstellen.

Property was in the heart of grand place which was great 30 sec walk. Front staff were very helpful and friendly the breakfast included was very good food. I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy being in the heart of the bars and restaurants and shopping this place is for you The only down side the room was extremely small but clean and cozy. This place was so bad that I did not stay even though it was for one night but I found another hotel and left after seeing the place. I would just like to tell you that the majority of our guests know very well that we are not a 4 or 5 star hotel, and that we have excellent reviews from our guests. I know people like you, who go on the internet and research prices only, never mentioning the condition or comfort of the hotel, which is why you said "horrible". We're a small hotel without a big reception, etc. So go to a 4 or 5 star hotel, accept to pay double or triple our prices and rest easy. There's no need to lie or invent an opinion just to cause harm. It's just a question of honesty. Sincerely yours.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the square. It is close to the shops, restaurants, and other places. The hotel room is enormous, and the bathroom shower water pressure is excellent. The gentleman who works at the front desk was accommodating with our transportation to the airport with no troubles! It is a beautiful hotel with lots of characters! I would love to stay here again on my next trip.

The hotel location was fabulous, right on the Grand Place, easy walking distance to attractions. A room at the front would have been lovely as they looked out over the square but ours was at the back. The room was basic but large and comfortable and catered for all our needs. The breakfast was served in a lovely restaurant across the square from the hotel.The best was the owner, Said, who was friendly, helpful and informative.

Needs updating
Location was perfect and the manager was so nice and helpful. The hotel’s lack of a lobby (it’s just a desk in a hallway) was a little odd and the carpet is in drastic need of replacing. The room was clean enough but could use a major overall. But again, location was perfect even if my room had no view.
