Amazing Cabin by a creek

I love my stay at the cabin. It is in the perfect location where you can see the creek that runs near by off the back porch. While I was in the hot tub I enjoyed watching squirrels chase each other up and down the side of the steep hills near by. The cabin was so clean and comfortable. I plan on coming back with my family this next year!

Family Thanksgiving Unplugged

My family stayed here to be able to have a peaceful unplugged Thanksgiving and this cabin offered just that. We were able to spend such wonderful family time together hiking, creating fires in the fire pit and everything else. The location of the cabin is PERFECT to go grab ice cream around the corner and then go back home for peace and fun.

Cabin and location was very nice. Was very comfortable and decorated nicely for holiday. Everything inside cabin was nice except fire place did not work. My big complaint is that the host did not give me the door code to get into the cabin and it took almost an hour to receive it!!

Great Reset

This cabin and the Owner, Miss Gomez are both great and peaceful. This cabin gave us everything we needed to get away from the world we live and reset our minds. The creek side was amazing and so clear! It’s Dog friendly as well! Miss Gomez had the cabin decorated for Christmas and is was such a warm welcome when we pulled up to our cabin, you could see every tree lit up with lights and as we walked up to the front porch we can a lite up sign “Merry Christmas” as we walked inside to take a look for the first time, to our surprise a huge lovely Christmas tree! The cabin was cozy and just everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. We relaxed, shared stories and watched movies. Even though we had lots of rain during our stay, we were able to sit on the back porch and enjoy the sounds of the rain piter pattering on the tree leaves in the woods, and listin to the rushing water as it carries the rain water down stream. We sat in the hot tub as the steam danced off the top of the water into the evening air. It was absolutly wonderful. We will and have already added this cabin to our “We will return” list. As not only us, but our friends were able to enjoy their stay and the surprising adventures that the cabin made so acceptable to us. I will say, the location has two entry points that are both at a high angle, so approach with caution if you don’t have a truck or suv. 4x4 is easier to exit when the roads are raining, but not needed. Lower cars potable wouldn’t make it.

Peace and Quiet

We love the peace and quiet out there. Morning were great with a cup of coffee and watching the creek. Perfect spot if you still want to get food real quick and go back to the house. My only thing is the road on mountain loop if very rough and would have brought a bigger vehicle. I think a lower car would have had a lot of trouble getting to the house

The property is beautiful. We looked around at other properties while we were there and quickly realized that this is best of them all. Great quick family getaway

Long weekend away from the city

Our family, furry ones included, loved our time here at this quiet little retreat in the woods. The bubbling creek was the perfect white noise replacing honking cars and the constant hustle and bustle of our daily lives. We were very pleasantly surprised to catch and recatch so many little fish in the creek and even a stray crawfish as well! The hot tub was perfect on our rainy day and the beds were plush and comfortable, all in all, we had a great trip and would book here again!

Creek front serenity

This was our favorite place we’ve stayed in Hochatown. The creek behind the cabin is so peaceful and serene. Our son proposed on the beautiful landing. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting. Much needed getaway.

Spent a lovely four days at the cabin by the babbling creek. Even though it rained the first couple of days, we sat on the covered porch and enjoyed the view and the sounds and nature. The accommodations were very well appointed and everything you could ever need was there. This is at the top of our must visit again list. Highly recommend this cabin

Broken Bow weekend

This was such a perfect cabin. Loved it was on the creek it was nice to sit outside and sip coffee and listen the the water. The cabin is clean the beds were great and had all we needed for a nice get away. The fireplace in the master bed room made it so cozy. Just an fyi; The switch to turn on the fireplace is in the bedroom by the jetted tub. Highly recommend this cabin.

Good for my Soul!

My husband brought me to this perfect little cabin as a birthday present and a refresher from months of helping take care of my dad who has stage 4 bone cancer. When we arrived, I was stressed and wore out. This property breathed life into my soul. The sound of the crystal clear creek running just behind it helped soothe my nerves and calm my heart. The cabin and the property were immaculate and the property manager answered all of my messages very quickly. This is the only vacation that my husband and I have been on that both of us wanted to stay longer…much much longer. I am already trying to figure out when we can go back, and when we do, it will be at this cabin!
