We appreciate your feedback and business but your comments regarding amenities are clearly covered in detail within our listing nor is the cabin old. I do hate that the wifi was having issues but we were on the phone with the service provider trying to create a solution throughout your stay. Unfortunately, our mowing service had damaged the underground internet cable and it had to be repaired that week. Also sadly we are in a drought and the dock is currently sitting aground due to the current water levels but it’s not missing and it doesn’t prevent anyone from fishing off the bank, parking your boat or fishing out of our canoe or kayaks. I will definitely notify our cleaning service about the spider webs on the porch as well as the sheets which could have been immediately dealt with if you had reported the issue upon check-in. I do sincerely apologize that your expectations weren’t met during your stay.

Mr. Bulman, there isn’t a road to the dock, it’s a walking path, as it’s a very short walk from the house. You decided on your own to drive through our back yard after us getting 3”-4” of rain that Monday. Not sure what you expected to happened driving into an area that is visibly wet and not a road with any base or aggregate. A tractor service will be required to repair the long ruts that you left and didn’t bother reporting to us. The toilet flapper was torn during the previous guests stay and due to having back to back rentals our cleaning and service crew didn’t have time to replace it before you guys checked in so I do apologize for the toilet running. This however doesn’t mean that we don’t maintain our property. The fishing poles are in a rack in the corner for our guests to enjoy and we have never had an issue or complaint but will take your opinion into consideration. The poor condition that the house was left in along with the back yard damage left us with little choice. We have pics and video of everything mentioned as well which we have sent to VRBO for their review.

With all due respect to our customers who we are grateful for, you must read the welcome email and you will have no Issues with access as the new codes are listed three places. The VRBO agent was able to assist only because the correct information was included in the body of your welcome email. I know that cell phone service up there is a challenge and we do our best to effectively communicate but obviously we failed and for that I sincerely apologize. I do however think a 2 Star rating is a bit harsh and unfair for your check in trouble. We however left you a 5 Star rating for leaving the property in good order and following the rules in the rental agreement. We appreciate your business and wish you the best.
