Wonderful Stay

The Chauncy Cottage is a beautifully renovated home in the middle of Brenham. The owner has thought of most anything that guests may need and was excellent in communication in this very clean home. With perhaps the only complaint about Wifi that sometimes went in and out, it was a perfect stay in a beautiful home!

Wedding Trip

We had a weekend stay booked for a wedding in town. The cottage is neat, very clean and very well appointed with comfort items like plenty of towels, a welcome bottle of wine, milk and water in the fridge and coffee. Would very much recommend.

Great property! Cottage was very cute. Primary bed was so comfortable. 2 things. Limited seating by TV so would suggest putting TV on wall so ones sitting at the dining table can see- couch covers some of tv screen maybe put stuff for outside at a place more likely to look locked storage out back even though listed in book we did not hone in on in coffee barb. Will be back

Quaint Brenham Getaway

Everything is well appointed. A nice bottle of wine, fruit, and a note greeted us. The rooms were all comfortable and everything was intuitive. Loved our evening around the fire pit catching up and sharing stories. A perfect place for a family get together and come together.

Thoughtful

Nikki is a fantastic host! The cottage was very nice, clean and recently renovated but what really impressed us was how well appointed the house was. It had everything you could need and a lot of items you wouldn't even have thought of. We have stayed in dozens of VRBO's ranging from $300/night to $2,000/night and I have to say from a value perspective, this one is top notch! Great job Nikki and thank you!!

Round Top Weekend

Sister Reunion in our favorite Texas town

Chauncy Cottage is a fabulous place to spend a few days. Located in a safe neighborhood close to downtown. The furnishings are lovely and each bedroom is very comfortable and clean. We cooked in this visit and enjoyed meal preparation together in the beautiful kitchen. We always make a plan for our next visit to Brenham and this special cottage! Nikki is a wonderful host who always makes us feel at home.

Great Wedding retreat

Our family stayed for a couple of days during our daughter’s wedding nearby. It was a great spot to recharge and gather as we celebrated this big event. Comfortable, clean, spacious and inviting to our whole family. We would love to stay there again next time we are in town.

Perfect Cottage for Wedding Weekend

My husband & I along & our 3 daughters stayed here Friday to Monday in July 2024 for our daughter's wedding. It was perfect! 15 minutes from Deep In the Heart wedding venue. 5 minutes from downtown Brenham. The cottage was very clean, cozy, had everything we needed and more. Nikki was a fantastic hostess! She had a lovely note to welcome us next to a bottle of complementary wine and mini Blue Bell ice creams in the freezer! The frig was stocked with cold water bottles for us. There was a Kuerig machine and coffee K-cups for us to use. The bathrooms were fully stocked with plenty of nice plush towels. She even had an ironing board, iron and steamer in master closet which we made good use of getting ready for rehearsal dinner. Nikki allowed us a slightly later check out as we were dragging the morning after the wedding. We forgot a couple of items and she promptly mailed them to my house the very next day. This is the best VRBO experience I've had and highly recommend staying here!

Planning a trip

We met my brother and sister-in-law from Georgetown while we are from Houston area to plan a summer trip to Europe, so it was a working getaway! We got it all done though. Had some wonderful meals at local restaurants and stopped at an art show in Fayetteville after we checked out to see another brother and his wife who were in the show with their Gourd Art! It was a lovely, clean home complete with a complimentary bottle of wine, lots of coffee and Blue Bell ice cream! We will look forward to a return visit.
