The suite was not clean. Carpet needs to be shampooed or replaced. There was an old sheet on the pull out couch… and by the way, the pullout couch is horribly uncomfortable, like springs in your back. But the two queen beds in the bedroom were great.There was only 1 roll of toilet paper and only a few Kleenex left in the box. I’m honestly not sure the room had been cleaned except that the beds were made. The smoke detector is hanging from the ceiling by a thread. We could hear the people above us constantly. There was so much chlorine in the hot tub that we could hardly stand to sit in it. The good news is that the housekeeper was incredibly kind when I asked her for things as she was cleaning other rooms. The staff member in charge of breakfast was a doll. That place was crazy busy and she worked so hard. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, country, potatoes, and sausage patties. You could make waffles or have cereal and they had yogurt, oatmeal, muffins and toast. We don’t like that the pool is in its own building- it was freezing cold outside and we had wet kids having to run outside to get to the main building. They at least need a breezeway. For a suite, it would be nice if the fridge was a little bigger. We were also really bummed that the fireplace didn’t work. All in all, it worked for what we needed, but it needs some TLC and a few upgrades. And the suite is overpriced.
