The Southern Standard, Sleeps 6

The Southern Standard is a classic brick 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in north Brandon. The Ross Barnett Reservoir is about 5 minutes away. Cook in a roomy kitchen with a breakfast bar, then relax on the back patio overlooking a big backyard. It sleeps 6 and has free parking in the driveway. It works well for families, work crews and longer stays. Jackson's hospitals and airport are about 20 minutes away.

The space
This one story home has a split floor plan. The main suite has its own side of the house.
Main suite: king bed, tray ceiling, walk in closet and a private bath with double sinks.
Bedroom 2: queen bed.
Bedroom 3: queen bed.
Second full bath: tub and shower.
You will find towels, shampoo, body wash, hair dryers, an iron and a full length mirror. Beds have fresh, hotel style linens.

Kitchen and dining
The full kitchen has a breakfast bar, fridge, stove and oven, dishwasher and microwave. There is a breakfast nook by the window. You will also find a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, knives and dishes for everyone. The dining area has room for the whole group.

Living
The open living room has a smart TV for your streaming apps. WiFi is included.

Guest access
The whole house is yours, including the patio and the yard. Use your own keypad code, so there are no keys to pick up. Check in is at 3 PM and checkout is at 11 AM. Early check in or late checkout is $50 each when the cleaning schedule allows. Please ask first. One closet stays locked for the owner's things.

The neighborhood
Brenhaven is a quiet neighborhood in north Brandon near the Ross Barnett Reservoir. Parking is free in the driveway. The garage is not for guest use.

Getting around
A car is the best way to get around. The reservoir is about 5 minutes away for sunsets, walking and biking trails, and parks along the water. Shops and restaurants on Lakeland Drive in Flowood are about 10 to 15 minutes away. UMMC and downtown Jackson are about 20 minutes away, and the nearest ER is about 15 minutes away in Flowood. Jackson's airport (JAN) is about 20 minutes away.

Other things to note
Pets are welcome. Bring up to 2 pets. There is a $100 pet fee per stay. Please tell us before you arrive.
No parties or events. No smoking inside. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM.
Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are installed.
Bigger group? The Willow at Brenhaven sits right next door and also sleeps 6. Book both homes for up to 12 guests, with two kitchens and a dining table for 8 at The Willow.
