Das WC ist enttäuschend
Wir waren hier für 3 Nächte. Das Hotel ist wohl eins der schönsten in Boston. Sehr gut gelegen, wirklich direkt im Zentrum und unweit des Lebens in Boston und luxuriös ausgestattet. Leider trifft das nicht auf die 5. Etage zu. Das ist wohl, die billig Etage. Die Toilette war für mich nur mit Verrenkungen nutzbar. Wenn man auf dem Toilettenkörper sitzt, kann man sich nicht mehr bewegen und ist eingeklemmt. Leider bot man uns nur ein Upgrade gegen Geld an. Wir haben schon 330,- pro Nacht gezahlt, daher kam das nicht in Frage. Daher sind wir bei dem erwarteten natürlich enttäuscht. Würden wiederkommen. Aber nur in den oberen Etagen.

Für das Gebotene deutlich zu teuer
Das Hotel hat 50% der Zimmer mit Blick auf die gegenüberliegende Wand, resp die Fenster anderer Zimmer. Besonders die Zimmer in den unteren Etagen sind extrem dunkel und wegen der laufenden Ventilatoren der zentralen Klimaanlage auch sehr laut. Nach Zimmerwechsel erhielt ich ein Zimmer mit Ausblick. Allerdings gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe eine grosse Baustelle auf der an sechs Tagen in der Woche ab 7 Uhr gearbeitet wird. Ohne Ohrenstöpsel ist an Schlaf nicht zu denken.

Wir sind uns darüber im Klaren, dass diese Faktoren die Qualität Ihres Aufenthalts beeinträchtigen können, und danken Ihnen für Ihr Verständnis, dass Sie uns erlauben, das Zimmer für Sie zu wechseln. Schade allerdings, dass es im neuen Zimmer mit besserer Aussicht aufgrund der nahegelegenen Baustelle noch zu Störungen kam.Wir wissen, dass Aufenthalte in der Stadt manchmal mit Belästigungen durch Außenlärm verbunden sein können, und entschuldigen uns für etwaige Unannehmlichkeiten, die durch die Bauarbeiten in der Nähe des Hotels entstehen. Unser Team steht Gästen jederzeit zur Verfügung, um das bestmögliche Zimmer zu finden, und bietet jede notwendige Unterstützung, wie z. Warning: ROOM SERVICE NOT IN OPERATION AS OF EARLY DECEMBER 2021. Overpriced. Front desk staff seemed demoralized, undertrained and bored. Seems like a management problem. On check in barely greeted, just asked for credit card and given a key. No information given not even basics like “the elevators are across the lobby” or “enjoy your stay”. Room old with light cosmetic refurbishments. Many extra charges on top of room fee. You’re better off in one of the big chains: similar price with better vibes even if corporate. This hotel could be so much better.

The bathroom and shower was very small. No room at all. Only on small mirior in the room. The toilet was almost in the shower. I could barley fit in the show. And Im not a big guy. The actual room wasnt bad. It was just the bathroom. One.more thing the water in the shower didnt go down.

Some of the bathrooms are on the smaller side since we are an older hotel (we opened in the 1920s) and the bathrooms are original to the building. We do have rooms (such as our suites) which do have larger bathrooms that you may like better the next time you stay with us.

The room is very small. Inadequate towels or bath robs or slipper. You have toqsk for all that if younred it. Minimal storage space for cloths such as underwear so practically live out of suitcase. One nightstand for king size bed. The layout of the room made it that he door to the room almost touching the bed when you open the door to the room. Room service is mostly pool and for the most part is sunavailable All in all I would not stay in this hotel again

Overpriced!!! Horrible value for what we paid for a night; we expected more. Crammed, tiny bathroom; zero countertop other than a small picture ledge above the toilet to keep toiletries. Cheap, thin towels. Awful, lumpy old pillows. The bedding had strong, bleachy odor. A creepy and dirty walk-in “closet”; we obviously couldn’t hang our clothes, so we had to keep everything in our luggage. Not ideal! The $40/person/night “resort fee” is a sneaky tack on! I would not recommend this hotel!

We make a great effort to ensure our guests are aware of the special room type they're booking and have made it a priority to clearly set expectations by prominently listing the room name and giving an honest description online and offline. In regard to the layout and amenities, we appreciate your input and will take it into consideration for future improvements.Please accept our apologies for the challenges regarding the additional fee. We, like most hotels, require a deposit to hold your room, and authorizations may take between 5-7 business days to be released by the card's issuing bank. We hope you will give us another opportunity to serve you and that you will come back for a renewed experience.

The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows are great. I initially said there were some issues with the A/C noise and shower water pressure. The called me within 1/2 hour and offered to change our room. We chose not to. They sent someone to fix the shower pressure and it was good. Very responsive. The restaurant was very expensive. $7 for a cup of coffee. It was $65 for 2 of us for breakfast. I only had pancakes and coffee. Husband had eggs, toast, potatoes, bacon and the coffee. I guess it's to be expected in Boston though. It's an expensive town. We had a great time though. Celebrated daughter's graduation with her Master's Degree from Emerson College.

I love staying here partly because of the view, I am not from a city. The room we stayed in 11088, the window was so dirty we could not see very well. This is the first time that has happened and I have been here 5 or 6 times. Diane

Ist night we were there, jack hammer was working late into the night. The Saturday night the music/bass was very annoying. It didn't quit until 12:30 am.
