"A modern hotel with a welcoming entrance and very friendly staff. After more than 24 hours of flights and layovers from Germany, we were warmly greeted by Tim and offered water. Tika took care of our luggage until check-in. We visited a nearby mall and were allowed to check in early since the room had been prepared. One evening, after arriving with soaked shoes due to bad weather, I was given paper to stuff them. The staff really tries to make guests feel welcome. The room was clean and practical, with storage under the bed. The layout made it a bit awkward to climb over a partner to get out of bed. USB sockets were very useful. The automatic blinds often moved up and down by themselves, which was distracting. The room had a view of a parking lot. The shower had good water pressure and warm water, though the glued-on shower gel holder fell one night. It was bothersome that there was no separate sink in the bathroom. Water dispensers near the elevator were handy, but no place was provided to set down glass bottles while filling. Free parking is available about a 15-minute walk away. Public transport is just five minutes on foot."

"We had a balcony room with a direct view to the beach. The rooms are simple but have everything you need. The balcony is quite spacious. The staff was super friendly. Overall good value for money."

"The service was exceptional even for a 5 star hotel and Australia which both are generally on a high level. The views (especially from the upper floors) are breathtaking. There are so many things I couldn't take advantage of because I stayed too short. Next time, that mistake needs to be fixed by my planning. There are a few hotels that are closer to Circular Quay (Oh.. spelling in English...my appologies for any/many mistakes) and parking is the most expensive in Sydney (at least I did not see any higher rates and they are only until 3 pm no matter when you arrive) but other than that this place is paradise and top of my list."

"Es gibt definitiv bessere Meriton Suites als dieses. Die ganze Anlage bräuchte dringend ein Update und verbesserte Sauberkeit. Spinnweben im Zimmer, tote Insekten auf dem Boden der Küche, fleckige Teppiche, durchgelegene Matratzen, eine müffelnde Klimaanlage und Schimmel an den Silikonfugen in der Dusche passen nicht zum Anspruch von Meriton. Für diese Meriton spricht eigentlich nur die Zentrale Lage neben der Mall und dem Busbahnhof sowie die freundlichen Mitarbeiter. "

"I liked the area close to Bondi Beach The Baxley is relatively new or recently refurbished But was terrible was the size of the room, booked a single , ie. not more than 12 sm like I’m a prison cell. You couldn’t open a piece of luggage!! The insulation in terms of noise between the rooms is miserable. I heard any move the neighbors did, so without ear plogs impossible to have a decent sleep."
