Super Resort, Pools, Strand, Gym, Golfplatz etc. Am Pool im Cloister leider sehr langsamer Service Da wir mit offenem Fenster schlafen, mussten wir einmal umziehen, weil vor unserem Zimmer sehr laut eine Maschine lief. Klar, viele lassen die Klimaanlage laufen und das Fenster zu, dann ist das kein Problem. Deshalb hin zur Rezeption, Problem erklärt, Neues Zimmer festgelegt und ab zum Strand. Abends an der Rezeption bekam ich dann aber nicht die Karte für das vereinbarte Zimmer, sondern ein anderes. Dies war dann exakt 3 Meter vom alten entfernt mit dem gleichen Problem und Lärm. Diese 2. Nacht mit schlechtem Schlaf war unnötig und ärgerlich.

Sehr zuvorkommendes, nettes Personal. Schönes Zimmer im Turm mit unschlagbarer Aussicht aufs Wasser. Ganzes Ressort sehr gepflegt. Frühstück im Beach Club sehr zu empfehlen. Nur valet parking möglich, etwas teuer mit Fr. 37.00 pro Tag. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Es gibt Club, Resort und Bungalows. Wir würden das Resort empfehlen und mit wassertaxi zum Beach Club. Tolles Haus, nette Bar. Nur valet-Parking. Extra-Kosten 27 Dollar pro Zimmer fuer Strand etc und 37 Dollar fuer parken. Fruehstueck 35 Dollar pro Person.

fantastic stay, perfect hotel, perfect service, perfect emloyees at a really good price only bad thing was the cooking in the long term rented rooms next door. 24 hour pool, we had an absolutly great time. boca raton is a little quiet to me but seemed extremly save and clean. for sure i will go back AGAIN.

Ein schoenes Ferienhotel, auch mit Kindern.
Ich kenne das Hotel schon sehr lange. Vor 25 Jahren war es ausgezeichnet. Nach mehreren Eigentuemern und vielen Umbauten ist die richtige Sfeer nicht mehr vorhanden. Das Hotel bietet aber viele Moeglichkeiten und ist fuer Kinder auch sehr geeignet. Tax und Service macht es aber teuer. Trotzdem empfehlenswert.

Tolle Kulisse, aber...
Unser Zimmer im Hauptgebäude war absolut renovierungsbedürftig. Bereits im Hotelflur vor den Zimmern stieg einem der "alte" Geruch des Gebäudes in die Nase. In unserem Zimmer roch es modrig und feucht, die Einrichtung muss dringend erneuert werden. Wenn die Klimaanlage permanent lief, wurde der Geruch leicht gemildert. Das Zimmer (trotz Upgrade von Cloister Standard auf Cloister Deluxe) war klein, im Badezimmer musste man sich geschickt positionieren, um die Tür schliessen zu können. Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig, Stimmen und Geräusche aus den Nachbarzimmern und aus dem Flur waren extrem störend. Die Klimaanlage war ebenfalls sehr laut. Das Servicepersonal des Hotels sowie des Parking Service waren zu jederzeit zur Stelle: Tür aufhalten, Auto bringen und wegfahren, Gepäck tragen usw... allerdings fehlte uns zu einem ausserordentlich guten Service aller Mitarbeiter des Hotels die Freundlichkeit. Die Preise der Serviceleistungen im Hotel sind hochpreisig. Das Hotel hat eine beeindruckende Kulisse, aus unserer Sicht muss hinter den Mauern aber noch etwas getan werden. Die unterschiedlichen Zimmerkategorien mit gravierenden Komfortunterschieden sind uns bei der Buchung nicht bewusst gewesen. Zu beachten ist ausserdem, dass es sich bei dem Hotel nicht, wie bei einigen Reiseanbietern angepriesen, um eine direkte Strandlage handelt, sondern vom Hauptgebäude brachte uns ein Shuttlebus zum Strand (ca. 10 Min. entfernt).

The resort was beautiful and clean. The concierge was very helpful when need a clarification on activities. The back of the resort had the water view, boats and comfortable seats to relax and watch the view /sunset/sunrise . All staff would greet you while walking around. The accommodation to take you to the beach was great . The shopping stores had nice items and prices were fair. HEADS UP. If you don’t want to spend $ do not go there, it’s not for you . The resort is high class and get ready to spend money and I didn’t mind at all . It was worth it but except for the room service. Negative : Honestly the food was not great at all. I will not do room service again. The burgers were salty, ketchup was old it turn dark brown tasted yaky and the ice cream tasted like they had it . for years . Positive: the 2 restaurants had dinner the food was delicious. ( principessa and Japanese Bocce ) breakfast at Sadelle’s was delicious. Again for 2 people i spent over $200 so be ready. Positive about my room was clean : accommodated with snacks, drinks, coffee, a safe; white robes , sandals ,shampoo and conditioner ( smelled very nice). Negative about room: my windows were directly seeing the lot where the cars were driving/coming from the front of the resort. It felt a bit scary since at anytime if a person lost control ( my butt is finished lol). You couldn’t hear but headlights was no so great. Next time they need to give me a better room view and I’ll give a 5

I stayed at The Cloister part of the resort for the first time. Normally I stay at the beach club but it’s under renovation and I have stayed in the tower as well. Let me tell you what a mistake that was. I traveled with a family of 6 and got two rooms, but the one my son was in was a mild infested gross room. He actually got sick from the mold since he has allergies to it. They did change my room but moved it on the opposite side of the resort and my view was of an alley which my original room I booked estate view. All they offered was an hour later check out which we left way before. As you walk the hallways you can smell the musty mold and for what they charge for the rooms it’s a shame. We spent so much there at the resort for example dinners were between $700-850 for one and my son was sick and didn’t even enjoy half of our family trip because he was in the room sick from the mold. The cloister is old and run down. It’s a beautiful hotel but needs major renovation on that part. Also, on Friday we went to the pool and we needed 6 chairs and we were turned away because they only had one chair left. Crazy for what I paid. Could not even go relax at the pool!

My room had cockroaches. I reported it and the roach was still there. Only after I reported again did they clean it up. The next day, another roach. When I checked in, I asked to be upgraded. The young lady serving me said she did not think that would be a problem. After half an hours wait, while she checked with her supervisor, I was told it would $2000 a night more. The bell boy told me he never saw anyone have to wait so long to get to their room. I am elderly, travel alone and feel this was senior bias.

We had a fantastic stay at the cloister! Roody checked us in and was very helpful throughout our stay. The amenities were top notch, the pools were clean and the boat shuttle over to the beach was very convenient. We ate at a few of the restaurants while on site and had delicious meals! The drinks were also great!

Disappointed
Total disappointment, from worn looking accommodations, to body fluid stain on sheets, to uncomfortable mattress, to location away from the beach, this hotel is not worth the price or worthy of the hype it creates trying to position itself as a luxury resort. Too many great places to stay in Florida to be disappointed in a place like the Boca Raton.
