Stunning beauty all around. Swans! Fishing, kayaks! We had a wonderful , peaceful rest. The room was beautifully decorated. Everything was comfortable and exceptionally clean. The whole facility was far beyond our expectation.

The room was clean and easily accessible from the parking lot. The hotel had a clean, beautiful indoor pool. Our room overlooked a lake and the property is breathtaking. Highly recommend!

The room was clean and nicely updated. No problems with the bathroom. The property is beautiful with a peaceful walking trail and lots of areas to sit or play games like corn hole. A couple of minor cons are that it’s easy to hear through the walls, mattresses aren’t that comfortable, and the elevators don’t seem to be high quality. Despite this we would definitely stay here again!

Good location. Definitely ask for a room that faces the lake - the other side faces the parking lot. They call it hillside view, but it’s a parking lot view.

I like how close it is to the town. Great places to eat and shop. I did not like the resort fee that was added when I checked in. On the booking through expedia it stated all taxes and FEES included. The resort did credit me for the fee. I will defintely book there again.

First rate lodge, probably the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in, the staff was great and made us feel very welcome, breakfast in the Timberlake restaurant was very good as was the service. We look forward to our next stay at Chetola!

Our room was ok, but looked dated. It also had a connecting door to the room beside us, and you could hear every word the people next to us said. The hair dryer was sparking and didn’t work well. Not what I expected for the price

Rooms are clean and beds are actually comfortable. All the staff we encountered were polite. The restaurant there is pricy but convenient and the waitresses were pretty good also. Would stay here again.

This is a beautiful place to stay if you’re there to enjoy the area for Christmas. We were so close to Tweetsie and the property itself is beautifully decorated inside and out for the holiday. Our room was clean and cozy. The staff at the Lodge and in the restaurant were so friendly. We hope to visit again!

Everything was lovely and well designed. The staff were very friendly. The hot tub jets did not put out enough power but it was a nice, large hot tub and the environment was quite pleasing.

The room was clean, but the showers have a “safety feature” that stops them from getting hot. It was cold in the mountains and we wanted warm showers. They sent a repairman but he said he couldn’t override the safety lock that stopped the shower handle from going more than 3/4 of the way toward hot. Big bummer to be shivering in and after our showers. Also would have appreciated a coffee station in the lobby so we could get some fresh coffee whenever, instead of that terrible in-room kind.

We are terrible sorry for the inconvenience you experienced, and we understand some people enjoy hotter water, but we must take into consideration that everyone cant and the last thing we want is for someone to get burnt due to overly hot water. Lastly at 9am, we move the complimentary coffee to our wading room.

Not well managed!
We were put in a room two doors down from someone with a dog who barked for hours. When we complained at the front desk, they said that there was nothing they could do.
