Was incredibly difficult to get into the building with having to download two apps. They did not send me the instructions to get in by the time of check-in and I had to call their helpdesk four times which was also a convoluted and unnecessarily difficult process. They try to do everything remotely through different â âdepartmentsâ - one having to verify you, another, having the check in instructions. None of this was sent to me by email from Expedia or them, even though I had prepaid everything.
When I finally got all that figured out and got into my studio, somebody walked in the room after Iâve been there about 45 minutes- they were from one of the maintenance or management- they didnât know that I was there and didnât knock, just walked right in. That made me feel unsettled for the rest of my time there because I realized there was no way to lock the door from the inside, and that anyone with the app could just unlock the door and come in. Because theyâve outsourced everything to different companies, thereâs no central way that someone could show a guest has checked in. Thatâs how my trip started within the first hour so I never really got comfortable and left early because of how unsafe I felt. Itâs too bad because it was a decent set up inside, clean and minimal.
