Our stay at the Tower on Tenth (TOT) Apartments turned out to be very good. The Security and Apartment Leasing Staff came to our rescue to provide us with a gated safe location to park our car and an entrance for us into the building.
Our instructions from Secure Home Management (SHM) did not include use of front entrance. Parking instructions and instructions into the building were written like something out of a mystery novel, dangerous and tiresome to unload for the holiday. We spent the next 3 days trying to resolve the parking issue with SHM, since we had been told before we rented that there would be free parking available to us at the Apartment. We finally spoke with the Leasing manager not associated with VRBO nor SHM, and she explained that our Host, SHM, did not purchase a TOT parking permit for the TOT gated parking lot and that our car would be towed without a pass. Like our instructions, we were told that we would need to park on the street or park at the Public Parking building both costly and did not look safe at night. Both of these options were not acceptable nor what we expected. The Apartment manager finally gave us a Temporary Pass for the duration of our stay at the TOT Apartment. We wasted a lot of time and energy with this problem.
Unless parking is made available in the front gated lot, we would not book this unit again with SHM.
