I was incredibly disappointed. I arrived approximately 1 hour before check-in and there were two people at the front desk with no line of customers. I was seen immediately but I was told that I would not be allowed to check in without an early check-in fee. I decided to go to the casino to wait for check-in time. When I returned, there was a line of at least 3 people ahead of me and only one person at the front desk. When I got to the front of the line, a separate line of 4 "diamond" customers formed, and they started being seen ahead of me. When another individual came to the front to finally help check people in and I went to her, another person came behind me and stated she was a "diamond" customer - the person at the front desk then informed me that I would not be assisted and I had to go back in line. I continued to wait until another two people were seen, and as a long line formed behind me. When I was finally seen, I had waited 45 minutes. I asked to speak with the manager, who said one of the front desk staff was away at lunch, which did not make sense during check-in hours during the late afternoon. I was so displeased that I immediately informed the manager to cancel the reservation and issue a refund. The manager, Kris Sala (ksala@caesars.com) agreed to issue a full refund and provided me her business card. I am waiting for Expedia to process this. I was able to use Expedia to locate and reserve at another hotel, where I was checked in promptly and respectfully.
