In the summer, take a short walk (3 blocks) to the Town Center for events such as the Big Sky Farmers Market and Music in the Mountains Concert Series, along with Big Sky's premier event, the PBR Rodeo. For those looking to explore the local trails, the "Hummocks" and "Uplands" trailhead is 3/4 of a mile and the Ousel Falls trailhead is 1.2 miles away from the townhome. Explore all of the fun activities at Big Sky Resort including lake canoeing, archery, mountain biking, disc golf, and zip-lining only 10 minutes up the mountain. Drive 30 minutes from the home for whitewater rafting, a summer family favorite. Don’t forget to grab a fly rod and jump into the world-renowned Blue-ribbon trout fishing rivers surrounding this area, as close as 10 minutes away! If you are looking for a relaxing spot to enjoy a coffee or ice cream cone, walk to a local favorite, the "Hungry Moose Market and Deli", soak in the sun, and breathe in the fresh mountain air!

During the winter, this central location provides prime access to a multitude of Big Sky's winter activities! Most homes in Big Sky don't, thanks to our typically mild summer temperatures. For a true Montana experience, we recommend our classic "Montana A/C": open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds first thing in the morning to keep the cool air inside throughout the remainder of the day.


Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman Airport
In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4 wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!
