The room we were placed in had no manual deadbolt on one of the external doors and the room was pretty outdated and the a/c seemed to be barely working. Also, we could hear quite a bit of noise of people coming and going and we were concerned about our child being woken up at night. We ended up finding nicer accommodations elsewhere and did not complete our stay. Great pricing, but I'd rather pay more to have a more comfortable stay.

I arrived late, aftera 5 hour drive. I lugged my stuff up to my room, which was a dirty room that never got cleaned from the previous guest. The bed was stripped, and all blankets and sheets were on the couch (kinda gross). There was garbage and towels, etc. When I contacted the front desk, I was asked to come back down and get new keys. He was a nice guy, and it wasn't his fault. My new room was freezing. It was an upgraded suite, but there was mold in the bathroom, the mirrors had finger prints, and I coupd see the wipe pattern of the rag on the furniture, from their "cleaning". I was exhausted and crashed out. The following day, I left early for an event nearby. I returned at about 9pm to my room the same as when I left. The bed wasnt made, and no towels were replaced. I called the front asking for towels, and was asked to come to the front desk to get them. When I arrived, she didnt have towels, and I had to wait for her to go and get some from a closet. Overall, the staff was friendly, but this hotel seems to be having an issue with their housekeeping crew and operations

All staff members seemed very friendly. Had a minor problem with the television in our room they replaced it very quickly. Was able to park my car right outside the hotel room door loading and unloading was very convenient overall very happy with my stay.

I should know better than to book the cheapest room in town. Expedia’s 8 rating talked me into it. Unfortunately, this ended up being a property that is more of a “weekly rates” location rather than a clean, comfortable overnight. People clearly live here long-term, so it gives off a run-down vibe just because of that. Also, rooms open to outdoor corridors. Super low budget fixtures and furnishings. The bed was advertised as 1 queen but was definitely only a double—though clean and comfortable. Fridge was not operational, shower didn’t regulate temp and only 6 of the 30 holes in the shower head sprayed water. Pros: walkable to FSU hockey arena, front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. Would not stay here again, nor recommend it to others.

I stayed at the "Old Creepy Hotel" from college!
I used to attended Ferris State University in 1999. Back then there was this creepy closed run-down hotel we used to walk by to go to a bowling alley that is no longer there. We used to tell stories of serial killers living there. Well when I arrived I asked Ashley at the front desk what happened to the creepy hotel. That is when I discovered that it had been renovated as the Quality Inn. Luckily my room was in the new part. Ashley was extremely helpful giving me tips on where to pull the bus I was driving in and there was plenty of room to park it and maneuver. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were small. I love big fluffy pillows and will not lie! My stay was enjoyable and I was thankful for the rest. I took a youth group up to Cran Hill and was the most well rested adult on the trip! The deco is a little dated in the hallways and the elevator wasn't very clean. The room was alright. And yes I watched true crime documentaries during my stay. I'm glad they updated it! Would stay again!

Steer clear!
We stayed this past Saturday in a room with a jet tub. After 20 mins of the jets not working i called room service. After some back and forth, someone came to look at the tub and when he took the cover off you could smell it burning. The motor was melting stuff because it was so hot. He told us wait 10 mins, if it works great if not he would move us to a different room. After 10 mins we are told there are no other rooms with a jet tub and theyll give us a discount because we got a "regular room" instead of a jet tub room. The lousy $26 discount (off $146) was charged to us instead of taken off, and then they refunded $52 ( the original refund plus the "accidental" charge) and charged us 52 the same day. So still made it nowehere. Stay elsewhere. Do yourself a favor.

Absolutely the worst stay ive had here. The room was old, dirty and had a string smell of mold and decay. The couch and chair were stained so badly i didnt want to sit on them. The noise all night was beyond what you should have to deak with. The breakfast had minimal items with signs out stating equipemt was broken and supplies were hard to find. When i talked to the front desj about the room i was told there was nothing they could do and i would not be abke to get a refund but i could go find another hotel.
