The Neighborhood:
Highland Cedar Cabin is tucked into a quiet, tree-lined residential pocket on Highland Road — one of Big Bear Lake's most accessible and well-established streets. The neighborhood feels genuinely local: mature pines, clean mountain air, relaxed pace, and neighbors who take pride in the area. There's no tourist noise here — just the kind of stillness that reminds you why you made the drive up.
Despite the quiet, everything is close. Snow Play is a half-mile away, The Village is just over a mile, and the marina and ski slopes are all within a few minutes by car. You're positioned to do as much or as little as you want without ever feeling remote.
