It was ok. Pool and hot tub were kind of dirty. Sauna was out of order unfortunately. Room was clean. No complimentary breakfast. For $150 Canadian, it wasn’t great, compared to what you used to get. I guess hotel prices have gone up.

Staff were very nice. Room was clean and updated. We were out at the end of the hall right next to the very large heating system that was very loud all night. Told staff that room should not be rented or make the wall sound proof. There wasn’t a continental breakfast but a grocery story with a excellent deli was right across the street.

This property needs to be remodeled, especially the jetted tub room. The tub was missing jets, the plug had to be manually removed because the knob was broken, and it was so loud I couldn't use it past 8pm.

Used to stay there when it was owned by another company. I won't stay there ever as it was noisy, dirty (mold), heater was to hot it to cold. Old coffee pod in the coffee maker. Very, very disappointed.

Overall: Fine. We checked in at 8pm, after a long day of travel & sports activities. Told at check-in that breakfast was "down" and wouldn't be available in the morning. A huge bummer, since we had to then go out and purchase breakfast for the kids. Someone had left the heat on, so when we first arrived, it was at least 90 degrees in the room. We had to open the window for a while. The cleanliness though--AWESOME! Sheets & towels were fresh, bathroom was scrubbed well, and floor was clean!! When we checked out, I asked for a printout. The guy clicked around a bunch on his computer and then said, "there's nothing to print". I've never had that happen before.

Disappointing
The hotel is old and badly needs updating. It was mainly clean, but the step-out mat for the shower had rust-colored stains. The bathroom fan is ridiculously loud, sounding like a jet engine. But my primary complaint is the hotel’s indifference to the guest. I aware of the hotel’s condition from other reviews, yet I booked this hotel due to location and the free hot breakfast—I wanted those convenience factors since we were town for a school event. Despite the Hotels.com listing and the hotel website itself advertising the free breakfast, the hotel had discontinued that service. This was an apparent change in the 5ish days since I made my reservation, though the website still advertised a “free hot breakfast” after I checked in. The clerks told me that they would check with a manager about my concern, but I heard nothing 48 hours after I checked out. It was only after going through Hotels.com that they offered to refund me, though only $5 which didn’t cover the additional expense. My complaint is not about the money, which is an admittedly small amount. Rather, it’s about the hotel’s misleading ad/website and indifference to the guest. This is the second time that I’ve booked a hotel on Hotels.com when it incorrectly advertised free breakfast. Lesson learned not to trust the listings, or even the hotel’s own website in this case.

No complimentary breakfast
This stay was for 6 nights and the roomservice house keeping only cleaned the room 2 times and both times only made one of the beds even though both were slept in. The pool area was in disrepare with the hot tub over flowing and colder than the main pool. It was near Christmas so i understand not cleaning the room on the 25th, but the other days is unacceptable. The complimentary breakfast also was poorly stocked if it was even set up at all. All of the milk shower that it had expired on the 12th, yet it was stocked into the fridge for guests to consume on the 28th and 29th. The juice machine was also still out of order as it had been in November near Thanksgiving and my previous stay.

The guy at the counter was new and didn't seem to know much but they tried to charge me even tho I paid online. I had to ask why they needed me to enter my card when it was paid online? Otherwise our stay was decent but the Jacuzzi tubs need some anti slip stickers on the bottom so you don't fall getting in and out. And the cleaning staff knocking on the door at 9am to see if we had left yet was not appreciated as checkout is 11am....if we haven't checked out they should assume we are still in the room! But a definite plus was visiting the grocery store next door for their kettle corn! We pick some up every trip to Bemidji!!!

The hotel advertised continental breakfast, and we were told when checking in the the breakfast was from 7-11. The person at the front desk said they were waiting for a truck to come in, and then said nothing was guaranteed. I chose this hotel because of that. She was rude and impolite. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I waitied in the lobby for 5 min before even being able to check in. My guess is there is a shortage of staff. It was really disappointing that we were told there would be a complentary breakfast from 6am to 10 am. My family and I went to get breakfast at 8:15am and fhere was another family up there telling us that nobody had set it up and they must've forgotten because not a lot of people were there. I have stayed at this hotel 8 different times and this is the first time that the service was so bad.

Probably try another next time.
My room was very nice. Fluffy pillows and bed. Nice and quiet. I asked for a room close to the entrance; they accommodated. The location was great. Close to everything I needed. Welcomed my service dog. I appreciated the free breakfast but I had to ask for syrup and napkins. The second day there were no coffee cups or forks. Third day the little glass cabinet that held the yogurt and milk was locked. The pool was green and dirty. The jacuzzi was clean but the jets wouldn't turn on. My tv froze every 2 minutes. I was happy to have a place to stay but will probably try another hotel/motel next time.

At check in I was told they no longer had breakfast during the week. They advertised breakfast, but other complaints about the property include breakfast problems. No discount was offered even though I asked for one. Lots of other motels/hotels in Bemidji.
