We stayed at Raintreeâs Sandcastle and had a mixed experience. The staff was exceptional. The were consistently friendly, helpful, and really the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, the room itself didnât live up to the same standard.
There was no air conditioning, and with temps in the high 70s, the room got uncomfortably hot. The fireplace pilot light, which you canât shut off, added to the heat. We had to keep windows open just to cool things down, and it didnât really help until late at night.
The bathroom wasnât great. We had very low water pressure, and the tub didnât drain, which made for a gross shower experience. The TV was tiny and outdated, not ideal if you're planning to relax in the room.
The kitchen was a plus. It was well stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils, which made it easy to prep meals without issues.
Just be aware: this is a timeshare property, and it feels like Expedia rents out the units when owners arenât using them. Thatâs fine, but it explains the odd mix of condo and hotel vibes.
