„Fantastic House. The pictures did not do it justice. It was way bigger than I was expecting. We had a family reunion with 17 adults and three children. There was plenty of room and different places for people to go to be alone if they wanted. The kids loved the games room and had so much fun. Would highly recommend it and we will definitely be visiting again.“

„Crook farm is a great base for a multi generational group (plus dogs) - so much to recommend it. Location - being able to walk up the Old Man from the house was amazing; a large, enclosed garden for the dogs - and younger members of the group to explore; and the house itself - comfortable, spacious and full of character. Both bathrooms had powerful and hot showers. The host was very attentive and responded within hours of sending a message. Location is just picture perfect, with Ennerdale Water a 2 min drive away with plenty parking. There isn’t much else to do, other than walk at the lake, it was very quiet and peaceful. „Everything we could want and need for a great holiday in the Lake District. The cottage was comfortable, clean, with comfortable beds and bedding, warm and quiet. It had everything we needed to cook when we didn't eat out in one of the many pubs and restaurants that can be found. Great location for walking in the Lake District. Can walk from the cottage. We took an amazing bus ride over the Whinlatter pass to Buttermere then on over the Honister pass and up the valley alongside Derwent Water.
