Our first day wasn’t that great. We arrived our room was “supposedly” clean and ready. Going into the bathroom, you immediately saw it wasn’t cleaned throughly. I went to the front desk and talked to them about stuff that was all over the bathroom counter, the shower wasn’t cleaned, and there was tags, and the plastic that apparently the guest before us had pulled off their clothing and it was on the floor along with other signs of not being swept or mopped. We had 4 people in our room, and only had 2 sets of towels.
I was given cleaner and rags to clean the bathroom (yes, I cleaned it) then went back for towels. The next morning I went back to the desk and told them I wanted our room cleaned. After all of that, the rest of the trip was great.
The breakfast was great, the staff in the breakfast area were WONDERFUL!!! They were very attentive, polite and helpful. The breakfast was just right to start our day off. They offer a free dinner Monday-Thursday, but we missed it. But I think that’s another added bonus! The pool was nice. This is a very high plant , and refinery, offshore area, so there’s a lot of workers staying there, but we had no problems at all. It was quiet, and ample parking. The hotel also has a bar, and a commissary area. All and all, it’s a good place to stay. Close to everything.
