„The hotel islocated in a very peaceful location. Having a car is highly advised as the resort is huge. Staff from the front desk to the restaurant were all very nice. The rooms were more than enough for one human being. Breakfast was plated but tasty. I highly recommend the milk fish. “

„This place has character. The staff was excellent and accommodating, very friendly and responsive. The rooms are a bit old but clean, everything works, good air conditioner, and decorated with antiques, handmade local items, even a large bookcase with hundreds of interesting older books. The parking is onsite, a bit crowded Saturday night but no one blocked you in and there is overflow parking right outside the gate just a few dozen meters from your room. „Late check-in fees even tho we told them ahead of time that our late flight was delayed further past midnight due to severe weather. Parking was a headache! Check-out was just as bad. We had to wait for someone to check rooms to get cash deposit back.“

„The rooms are dated but clean. The staff were very friendly and attentive. There was an issue in our room and they offered to transfer us to another room right away. We declined as we were already settled and the issue was not a big deal but we appreciate the initiative. Will book this place again if we ever are in the area. “

„We were blown away by the view of Taal volcano and Lake Taal from our room, while dining on the restaurant’s patio, and while sitting by the pool. We enjoyed the spa for a massage and the sauna. Our stay was on a Mon/Tues and we almost had the place to ourselves. Highly recommend this place if you are visiting Tagaytay! “

„Ok stay, but would probably not stay there again. Considered as 4 Star Hotel however I would rate it at most 3 star. Breakfast rather basic Philipino food - quality rather on the low end. The most disturbing thing was that they cleaned various rooms at 11 pm in the evening with an incredible noise. Also, they cut the grass around the pool area after midnight which was an enormous noise. Only after complaining they stopped so. I would for the same price you might get a better option in this town. ...

„Das Lakehotel Tagaytaj ist wunderschön gelegen mit Blick auf den Taal Vulkan. Es liegt direkt an einer stark befahrenen Hauptstraße. Insofern sollte man ein Zimmer zum Garten/Vulkan buchen. Angrenzend an das Hotel finden sich mehrere nette Restaurants und Café's. Die Hotelzimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und old fashioned, aber bequem/rustikal eingerichtet. Philippinisches Frühstück, leider kalt gereicht, in einem Ballsaal statt Restaurant. Schöner Pool mit phantastischer Aussicht. “
