Die Zimmer der oberen Etage sind frisch renoviert, zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes wurde im zweiten Stock renoviert, wodurch ein wenig Lärm entstanden ist, was für uns jedoch nicht störend war. Das Personal ist freundlich und im Hotel selbst (obwohl sehr klein) fühlt man sich wohl.“

"This was my second time at El Colonial. As the first time, it was great. Staff are fantastic and so friendly and helpful. I always feel very welcome. Sadly I always just stay one night. But it is definitely worth to make my way here from the airport. Hotel is in the midst of old San Juan and lots of restaurants and bars are just a short walk away. Very nice roof terrace for some drinks or just some peace and quiet. I will certainly stay again."
