Nice apartment in a residential neighborhood
We stayed in a place right in the middle of things a week earlier, and on our way back to Barcelona we stayed here. After getting oriented in our earlier trip it was nice to be a little away from all the action downtown but close to it. The neighborhood was nice and the building, while a little basic, was fine. The hosts were communicative and the kitchen was well stocked. The hot water was a little temperamental as the kitchen was on-demand, and I am not sure what the issue was with the shower. In fact, our one complaint was that the shower was clearly in need of repairs. We got it working with a basic stream of low pressure water but the hot water would turn off and on somewhat mysteriously. It may simply need a new shower head but it made the shower very hard to use. In general, though, it was nice to be one block from the METRO and near a supermarket and bread shops and a residential neighborhood.

Nos alegramos de tu satisfacción y que aún y teniendo dificultades con el agua caliente, hayas valorado con 5 estrellas. Hemos comprobado el agua caliente y funciona correctamente. Es un calentador de gas y esto hace que trabaja diferente que el de acumulador eléctrico. Cuesta un poco más de regular la temperatura, pero tiene la ventaja que es continua. Nunca se termina.

Nice accommodations, good price, but no pool
The apartment suited our needs, the beds were comfortable, and we were grateful for the air conditioning and laundry facilities. The neighborhood is a bit far from most Barcelona sites but it is close to public transportation and it’s easy to get around. My biggest problem was the pool. The apartment is advertised in its title as: Nice Apartment with Pool. Under the description it did say that the swimming pool would be closed in 2021 due to Covid. When I originally considered booking the place I asked about the pool because that was the big selling point for us. The response was that they were going to have a meeting about reopening the pool. This went on for several months until I finally just decided to book it. When it came time to check in I asked about the pool again and they said there was a problem with the filter and it should be cleared up in a few days. The pool was never open, our key didn’t work to get outside to the pool, in fact we never even saw the pool. The owner/manager; very nice And helpful, BUT if you’re hoping to have a pool, don’t book this place. If you need a three bedroom accommodation, it’s quite suitable.

We are glad that the accommodation has been satisfactory for you and that the service and attention offered by Maite, was also to your liking. We are sorry about the pool issue, it has also been uncomfortable for us ..., but after 2 years closed by Covid, once the community decided to open again we found that the filter was clogged as a result of inactivity and had to repair. For this reason, we never activated the pool service until we were sure it was going to work and we are glad that you still wanted to visit us. I can now confirm that the pool is already up and running and no one needs to worry about it.
