Aspen Cabin ist seit vielen Jahren ein Mietobjekt, in dem Familien zurückkehren, um ihren Sommer in Maine zu genießen und tolle Erinnerungen zu sammeln. Diese Immobilie wurde kürzlich auf ein neues Management sowie eine neue Auflistung umgestellt und unser Sommer 2020 wird besser als je zuvor!

Kommen Sie und genießen Sie diese wunderschöne Blockhütte am Sandstrand - Little Tunk Pond Retreat! Aspen Cabin ist umgeben von Schoodic und Black Mountains in einer sehr privaten Umgebung, die es Ihnen ermöglicht zu glauben, dass Sie diesen Teich ganz für sich haben! 3 Schlafzimmer und 2 Badezimmer bieten Ihrer Familie viel Platz zum Entspannen drinnen oder draußen auf der abgeschirmten Veranda nach einem Wandertag oder einem Besuch im Acadia-Nationalpark. Draußen finden Sie einen neuen Grill, eine tolle Holzschaukel, einen eingezäunten Bereich, in dem Ihre Hunde laufen können, 3 Kajaks und ein Kanu. Wenn Sie lieber angeln, haben wir reichlich davon, mit Lachs und Forelle in Little Tunk. Vielleicht möchten Sie schwimmen gehen, dieser Teich ist ideal dafür und Big Tunk ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt! Wir haben einen Generator angeschlossen, der sofort umschaltet, falls jemals Strom ausfällt. Es gibt auch eine Feuerstelle, die nur darauf wartet, dass Sie zu Gerüchen oder Sternenhimmel auftauchen. Aspen Cabin ist hier, um Ihnen die Ruhe zu bieten, im Wald zu entkommen und gleichzeitig den Komfort von zu Hause zu bewahren!

Annual Family Mountain Retreat

We vacation in the vicinity of Acadia every year with family. Growing up going to a cabin of a family friend in Sedgewick, she sold her property a couple of years ago. We have continued to come back in search of somewhere comparable: a cozy cabin on the water with kayaks, a fire pit for smores, a reasonable driving distance from Acadia, dog friendly with a nice yard & privacy... We found all that here at the Aspen Cabin! Shasta was very accommodating and responsive. The house was very nice and comfortable. The upper deck was the perfect place to go in the morning to read a book. The lake was crystal clear and so much fun to hang out with the dogs to fish, kayak, and float around on the tubes. We had a fire pit night with smores & game nights in the livingroom. Acadia & Bar Harbor were about 45 minutes away while also close to Ellsworth, one of our favorite quaint towns. Thank you, Shasta, for the use of your beautiful home and property!

Shasta was absolutely wonderful! She answered all my questions quickly. We stayed from July 12-July 16. The weather was cool and a nice break from the Florida heat. We enjoyed kayaking across the lake, sitting on the swing with our coffee, and cooking s'mores on the fire pit. The drive to Bar Harbor, Acadia, and Bangor airport was an hour. The home was equipped with everything we needed. We had a bunny visitor most of the mornings and a few chipmunks, too. The home is down a gravel road and kind of in the middle of no where, so there's lots of privacy. If a remote destination, off the beaten path, with no cell towers and the sound of pure nature is what you're looking for, this is the place for you! We loved it! There were moments when we just closed our eyes and were in awe of the sound of silence. I'm a teacher, so my time at the Aspen cabin allowed me to rejuvenate, renew, and relax before starting another busy school year.

We had a fabulous experience! The cabin was as advertised and a perfect location for a family get away! We loved the property and proximity to the water. We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Quintessential Maine rental. The lovely cabin is secluded and the pond it sits on is simply beautiful; we spent multiple days not even leaving the property with the opportunity to canoe, kayak, and paddle boat right there from the small, private beach! There was still plenty of time to visit Acadia National Park, smaller parks/independent trails, and multiple nearby harbors, as well. My family is very much looking forward to coming back here, as it was the perfect spot and we all fell in love with it!

We had such a great time enjoying the property. The sunsets were amazing! We felt like we had the lake to ourselves. The authenticity of the log home and decor felt like a real Maine vacation. Peace and Relaxation

I can not say enough about the cabin. Shasta was so easy to work with and provided all the details we needed. The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 and our 2 dogs. The property felt completely private. We enjoyed the peace and privacy but also walks along the property and also were close enough to Bar Harbor, Castine, and Schoodic. The kayaks and paddle boats were so much fun and the lake was crystal clear. The fireplace was amazing for little fires to start the day with out coffee. :). The location was great, groceries and activities are easily accessible. We did not want to leave and hope to return soon and stay longer. Thanks again Shasta for everything.

Amazing house!

Beautiful, relaxing lakefront, Memorial Weekend getaway !!

Aspen Cabin was perfect; everything was just as it was advertised! Very clean and well stocked with everything you need. The views were beautiful very serene and relaxing! Little Tunk pond was great and very clean. My dogs loved swimming in it, my husband loved fishing, canoeing and I just enjoyed sitting at the lake and relaxing. We enjoyed taking small little walks around the neighborhood. Shasta was an amazing host. She was easy to commutate with, very helpful and checked in on us to see how it was going. The Wifi wasn't working when we got there, but Shasta did let us know before hand, but between Shasta and the owner Chris they were very accommodating and very responsive of fixing the Wifi the following day, which my husband and I were very appreciative, that Chris came to replace it with a new Wifi. I would defiantly recommend Apsen Cabin as a great vacation rental. We would defiantly rent it again but maybe next time we would bring our kids, or I should say young adults. I know they would love it!! The only thing I would recommend is maybe bring a broom especially if you have dogs. Apsen Cabin does have a very nice vacuum which I used every day, but I like to use a broom, especially when there is staircases, it's just easier for me. This is Defiantly Not a complaint by all means it's just a preference for me. I have been know to bring my own broom sometimes lol. Five stars all the way!!!

Stunning location, cabin was so awesome, comforts of home but feeling of being remote. Location is lakeside but still within 45 mins of shops. I can't way enough about this place. We will be returning next year!

The cabin was exactly as advertised. Plenty of room for our family of 5 to stretch out. The kids nicknamed it frog lake due to all of the frogs that would hang out under the kayaks. There are a few other cabins within a close proximity, but we rarely saw or heard anybody. It felt like we had the lake all to ourselves. We need to come back when the sky is clear so we can sit out at night and look at the stars.
