Visitors can enjoy the original Mast General Store and Valle Crucis Park, which features a paved walking trail, picnic areas, and river access. Crab Orchard Falls is only five minutes from the Mast General Store and is a short hike from the falls. Downtown Boone, about thirteen miles away, offers a variety of local shopping, dining, and breweries. Banner Elk, about ten miles from the home, also offers shopping, dining, and outdoor adventures. Mountain View Manor is fifteen miles from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, where you can enjoy year-round outdoor activities for the whole family. In winter, you can ski, snowboard, and snow tube, while summer offers award-winning mountain biking trails, hiking, disc golf, and scenic lift rides.

Mountain View Manor is a newly constructed mountain home featuring custom finishes. Upon entering, guests are welcomed by vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings with exposed beams throughout. The great room showcases floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the space with natural light and a large stacked rock gas fireplace, perfect for cozying up after a day on the slopes. Any chef would love cooking in the spacious kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances, a large prep island, quartz countertops, and a farmhouse sink. The dining table seats eight, with three more at the island. Step out onto the covered deck to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine while taking in breathtaking mountain views. Grill steaks for dinner on the gas grill or unwind in the hot tub after a day of hiking and exploration.

Downstairs, the den offers a perfect retreat for children to relax and play games on the PlayStation 5 or watch a movie on the HDTV. Gather around the wood-burning fire pit to roast marshmallows and share tales from your mountain adventures.

Mountain View Manor is a three-level home that can accommodate up to ten guests. The spacious main-floor master bedroom features a king bed and a private ensuite bathroom with a custom vanity and a tiled step-in shower. Upstairs, you'll find two additional bedrooms off the loft sitting area, each with a king bed and sharing a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Additional sleeping accommodations are available in the lower-level den, which includes a queen sleeper sofa and a twin sleeper chair. A third full bathroom is conveniently located off the den.

Guests have access to Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, central air conditioning and heating, and a laundry room. Two dogs are welcome with an additional pet fee. Mountain View Manor is accessed via a gravel road with a steep gravel driveway, which you should navigate at moderate speed to avoid spinouts. Guests can use the two-car garage for additional parking, and 4WD or AWD is highly recommended for year-round travelers.
