Antlers and Acorns Singer/Songwriter Festival is returning to downtown Boone Sept. 10-13 for its 4th straight year. Musicians will fill downtown Boone during the event with free and ticketed shows.

On the Friday and Saturday of the festival, “Songwriters in the Wild” will be at Betty’s Biscuits, Boone Bagelry, Daniel & The Dog, FizzEd, The Horton Hotel, Lost Province, Rooted on King, and Venture Chocolate and Wine Bar. Fifteen different songwriters will be performing at 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. at each venue.

Tickets remain available for Darrell Scott with Ben Danaher, Thursday, Sept. 11, Mary Gauthier with Jess Klein, Friday, Sept. 12, and John Moreland with Mando Saenz, Saturday, Sept. 13, all at the Appalachian Theatre.

Sept offers rhe start of App St. football and Boone's 4th annual Antler and Acorns Singer Songwriting Festival from Sept 8th thru the 14th. The area offers Ziplining, Hiking, Breweries, Winery's with Live music every day. Valle Crusis Misic in the Park every FridayNight. Banner Elk offers live music every Thursday night.

Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain and
Appalachian State Mountain in the winter, and in the summer, you are near Mountain Biking at Beech Mnt, Live music at so many venues each day, Breweries, Winery's and of
course tons of shopping and
restaurants. The entrance to the
beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway is also
just minutes away. AWD or 4WD recommended but not required in the winter months.
