Gut: Sauberkeit und Zustand der Unterkunft
We enjoyed our month-long stay at The Present. The staff were all very nice and willing to help in any way. There was always someone outside monitoring who came and went. We felt completely safe there. The BTS station is about three blocks from The Present and you can get anywhere in the city from there. Recommend you download the BTS (above ground) and MRT (underground) schedules before you arrive. My husband has difficulty walking long distances so we used Grab most of the time. A very convenient but more expensive option. There were a few things that we did not expect. The stovetop did not work. No cookware, or microwave. There was an electric tea pot and a nice refrigerator. We shopped for pastries, fruit, and other snacks and ate our meals out. Many good eateries nearby. The apt had two towels and two washclothes which were changed out during weekly cleaning. We purchased some cheap towels and washcloths at Ikea to compensate. NO IRON - My major issue! But,he wrinkles on my t'shirts and slacks/shorts were gone with the humidity and i didnt need the dresses. The place was advertised as having a washer and dryer. There was a washer in the room and a coin-operated dryer in the covered carport downstairs. After the first time, we found it more convenient to do our things at a nearby laundromat. We blew a circuit with our Thai compatible electrical device, with two UsbA, 2 UsbC, and two reg outlets - all used. Highly recommend!
