Stronghold Crazy Horse | Hütte mit Whirlpool & Bach

Crazy Horse Cabin sits among the trees at the edge of the creek on Bandera Stronghold, a small property outside Bandera with 500 feet of water frontage shared by just three stays.



It is a small cabin, laid out so nothing feels cramped: a queen bed, a full kitchen with an oven and stovetop, a microwave and a drip coffee maker, with coffee and tea set out, a living area and a full bath with a tub and shower. Towels and toiletries are provided, and there is Wi-Fi.



The deck wraps toward the water, with the private hot tub, a charcoal grill and a fire pit. Mornings here tend to start in the hot tub with coffee, watching for deer and birds along the bank.



The creek is good for wading and catch-and-release fishing when the water is up, and floats and lawn chairs are available on request. Up to two dogs are welcome, and plenty of guests write that theirs had the best weekend of all. Hill Country State Natural Area is a short drive for a day of hiking.



Early check-in may be available on request. Every stay includes the Texas Hill Country Travel App, a local guide for exploring the area.



WHY WE LIKE IT

Of the three Stronghold cabins, Crazy Horse is the one we point to when someone wants the most privacy. It sits right on the creek, a little apart from the others, and the hot tub on its deck looks right out over the water.
