I stayed in room 542. It is huge and is like a suite. It's not a bad room but the one area is sparsely furnished. Some of the hotel has updates and some stull need updates.

I read reviews about the shower and tubs not draining and water pressure not that good well they were correct. Shower would not drain. Standing in 6 inches of water after shower and shower wouldn’t turn on entire way leaving half come out the spicket head instead of the shower. Other than that was great place, breakfast is good here. Many options for my family in which we had two children with us 9 and 2. All in all ok for the price.

We were told parking was free if you stayed at the hotel. The gentleman that checked us in did not speak clear English. Very broken and hard to understand. He insisted parking was not free and he insisted we pay $8.00 per night ($32.00 total). This was not what I was told when making the reservation. He stared at us, like if we don't want to pay then we'd better look for another location because he really didn't care! His attitude sucked!! He was not nice, kind, nor professional - not a positive role model for the hotel.

This was my second stay here. The first was much better than this one. Last year, they didn't charge me for parking because I had been a guest at the hotel. This year, they charged me $8/day. I wouldn't have minded, and I understand it's reasonable, but it was just unexpected. I was on the 5th floor, which reeked of skunkweed. Also, that evening, when I went to the vending machines, I slipped on some water leaking from the ice machine. I could have gotten badly hurt. Also, my vending selection failed to fall out, so I had to put two more dollars in so the product behind the one I purchased would force my selection to fall out. So, $4 for the candy bar I wanted. :( The ladies at the front desk just seemed stressed and unfriendly. The coffee wasn't to my liking, but I admit I'm a bit of a coffee snob. Thankfully, there's a Starbucks nearby! My room was comfortable, but they failed to remove the trash from the previous occupant, which kind of grossed me out. It was just a big ball of someone's hair from the cleaning of a hairbrush. Wingate sounds like it's going to be upscale, but it was definitely more run-of-the-mill. The stink from the smoking of marijuana was the worst part. There are no smoking signs and threats of hefty fees, but it doesn't seem enforced.

The door had such a huge gap in the door that i could see clear to the hallway. The lock latch was falling apart. I did not feel safe at all. I paid 40 dollars for a soda, burger and fries for room service. Ill never go to that location again.

I waited a long time to check in. It was after midnight and I followed another guest in to the facility, after 5 minutes of waiting for service to be checked in, I began calling the phone number and it rang for greater than 7minutes before I hung up. Finally, each of us was on our way but not before the clerk had made the assumption that we were together. A very long wait after a long night. Frustrating.

Very clean. linens and bedding clean, bathroom spotless. Besides the smallish sized pillows, it was very nice for an overnight stay. Breakfast was a nice setup as well. Coffee not too shabby either!

the lady working the desk when we first arrived was not as helpful as she could of been. She seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. About what I have no idea. But the gentleman that worked the midnight shift and drove us to the the airport was exceptional. A true asset to your workforce.
