Sehr gute Lage, geräumige saubere Apartments, würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen. Einzig der Straßenlärm in der Nacht war es sehr laut.

Das Frühstück ist keine 21$ wert, aber auch nicht schlecht. In den Hotels der City kostet das Frühstück (full, buffet) im President z.B. 25$ und high-end im Rydges 32$ - und dort ist man mehr als doppelt gut. Einerseits bequem das Parkhaus nebenan, aber mit 30$ pro Nacht erheblich zu teuer für parken am Rand des Centrums. Im Zentrum kostet parken genauso viel - und ich habe vor dem Rydges Nähe Skyturm z.B. schon auf der Straße ,für weniger geparkt - 18-8 Uhr frei und die Uhr lässt sich z.B. für den nächsten Morgen "vorfüttern" -wer um 17 Uhr parkt 4 Stunden bezahlt (VISA), darf dann morgens 3h bis 11 parken. Die Ausstattung im Waldorf ist klasse, Küche, Spülma, Waschma, Trockner, 2 TV ... voll zufrieden, deswegen, trotz kräftiger Preise gegenüber letztem Jahr zur selben Zeit sind wir wieder für 2 Tage gekommen. 10 Minuten Fußweg bis zur Queenstreet und zum Hafen - optimal - und wer sein Auto erst in der City abhoen will bei USave z.B. kann auch dorthin in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß sein. Weil man braucht für die ersten Tag/e in Auckland nicht wirklich ein Auto - nimm den Airport-Bus bis in die City und fahr die letzten paar hundert Meter mit einem Taxi - mit dem Koffer auf dem Gehweg find ich auch weniger spannend. Spart AUtomiete und Parkplatzgebühr, weil vor dem waldorf einen der 6 Parkuhr-Parkplätze ergattern ist schwierig. Übrigens gibt es eine Check-in Haltezone für den PKW. Früher hatte man einen schöneren City-Blick - jetzt wurde leider gegenüber ein Hochhaus hochgezogen.

Eine gute Adresse in Auckland
Das Waldorf Stadium ist ein Appartment Hotel. Die Reinigung findet einmal pro Woche statt. Das Appartement war beim Bezug sehr sauber. Ich habe 2 Nächte dort verbracht. Im Apartment hat es alles was man braucht inkl Waschmaschine (mit Waschmittel) und Trockner. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Ich kann es empfehlen

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years, and unfortunately this time will probably be the last. I believe some of the rooms have been redone, but we were given an old room that is certainly overdue for a makeover. We were a family of four - and the room had three of everything. Three forks, three glasses - and on occasion housekeeping only left three towels. Very frustrating. Housekeeping was terrible - they replaced things but did not clean. We also had no tea towel the entire time we were there - it has a full kitchen in the apartment but no tea towel. To get a hot tray out of the oven I had to use a bathroom towel. Very strange. We were on the port side of the building and although it was not a major issue, there is a daycare next door - and those little screaming voices bounce and echo off the high rises around you and it’s not that nice being woken up by screaming toddlers before 8am when you are on holiday. It didn’t happen daily - but it was annoying when it did happen. Location is great, easy to get to Queen Street, convenient access to Woolworths, and easy to get onto motorway to travel west, north or south. Lovely drive to Mission Bay Area. It’s really a prefect location for visitors to Auckland. The staff were a mixed bunch. Not overly friendly or helpful, but not rude. They need to be reminded a bit about customer service - it’s nice to say good morning, or have a nice day to guests staying in hotel.

Good size studio apt, clean, well located. Good food options close by as well as a Woolworths store if you want to self cater. Our room has kitchen facilities and washer and dryer for laundry. Excellent for walking to shops, harbour, museums. We also have a balcony with chairs .

Very nice for a one night stay, very handy to the spark arena which is why we stayed at this property (for a concert). The only downside I had was the room we were in being so close to other suites. (I think this is the case for all rooms at the property) I was woken up at 5am due to the people in the room next to us going in and out of their room and therefore the door was constantly banging and crashing and it shook the whole of our room every time. That was the only downside I had for this stay.

Convenient location with handy parking, spacious rooms, and a great shower! Not much available food-and-drink-wise. Limited cafe hours and no room service. Clean and comfortable, and staff were very helpful. Supermarket, gym and ferries are all nearby.

Probably the worst experience I've had. Asked about 3-4 times just to take care of some rubbish. Barely made the bed and tossed us a garbage bag with utilities. No pool. Never got to eat at the dinner area cause it was always closed. Balcony was not a balcony. it was just an outdoor section covered in bird residue, with a lovely view of a flag. I would give one star but the hotel itself was quite clean.
