Once again, we are truly sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay. This is certainly not the level of cleanliness we strive to provide. As you know, we investigated this matter and found no evidence of any bugs in your beds or any rooms except for some dead ants in the kitchen. Being in a rural beachfront location, we regularly spray the property and lay ant bait, particularly during the wet season when ants are most active. With over 1000 stays at the property and over 20 years of hosting guests, we have not had this situation arise. We have many regular guests who come back every year and one of these guests stayed just before you arrived without incident. Your demands for a full refund or you would provide a negative review were not received well and based on no evidence we could not substantiate any sort of refund or reduced rate. We asked why you did not contact us about this issue as we would have come down to the property immediately to sort it out. You said that you only noticed it on the last day and your husband did not have contact details..our contact details are on the notice board along with emergency contacts. Your recollection of the incident is also inconsistent as your review now says it happened on the night of arrival.. We left messages for your husband to call us to discuss and we did not receive a reply We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this matter further with you and find a suitable resolution. Please reach out to us at your convenience, and we will gladly assist you. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we want to make things right. Thank you for bringing this to our attention
