Nordwinds Abenteuer - Brand New Rustic Walleye Kabine

Auf dem Grundstück von Northwinds Adventures, einem ganzjährigen Camp, sitzt diese brandneue "Walleye" Hütte JETZT.  Im Inneren verfügt es über 2 Schlafzimmer; eines mit einem Queen-Bett (Bettwäsche zur Verfügung gestellt) und ein weiteres mit einem Top-Twin-Etagenbett und voller Futon unten (Bettwäsche auf Anfrage für eine Gebühr von 10 $ zur Verfügung gestellt).  Für zusätzlichen Schlafplatz gibt es ein Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer (Bettwäsche auf Anfrage gegen eine Gebühr von 10 $) oder Platz für ein Kinderbett. White Eiche Holzböden in der Kabine, Bad ist mit einer Stand-Dusche gefliest. Ein Holzofen ist vorhanden, um die Kälte in den kühleren Jahreszeiten zu nehmen, Brennholz für $ 5 / Bündel zur Verfügung gestellt.  Die Küche ist voll mit allem, was man braucht, um eine tolle Mahlzeit nach einem Tag im Freien vorzubereiten.

Die Kabine ist in einem Hain von Aspen etwa 100 Meter von unserem eigenen privaten Love Lake versteckt.  Es gibt ein Deck zum Faulenzen und eine Feuerstelle im Hof.  Es gibt auch einen Holzkohlegrill; Aber die Holzkohle ist nicht vorgesehen.

Fühlen Sie sich frei, die Spuren rund um unsere 220 Hektar zu Fuß, paddeln ein Kanu oder Kajak in unserem See, oder verbringen Sie Zeit auf unserem Privatstrand.  

Liebe See ist ein 10 Hektar großen, Frühjahr gefüttert privaten See und es gibt viele Möglichkeiten zum Fischen von Ufer.  Um unsere Bevölkerung der einheimischen Bachforelle und der Walleyes zu schützen, bitten wir Sie, nur knalllose, künstliche Köder zu benutzen und alle unsere finnierten Freunde sanft wieder in den See zu bringen, um an einem anderen Tag zu kämpfen!

Bitte beachten Sie, dass wir im Juni, Juli und August Camp Luthers "Keweenaw Base Camp" -Programm und manchmal unsere Uferpromenade / Strand-Bereich für ihre Verwendung reserviert.  Wir werden uns unterschreiben und über den Strandplan bei Ihrer Ankunft informieren.  Keweenaw Base Camp Gruppen kommen Sonntagabend und Abfahrt Freitag Morgen, so dass der Strand ist die meisten Wochenenden.  Während der Woche verbringen sie oft Zeit, so dass der Strand auch während der Woche geöffnet ist.

Wenn Sie zu ATV oder Schneemobil kommen, bitten wir Sie, dass Sie keine Maschinen auf dem Grundstück fahren.  Sie können sie jedoch direkt von der Unterkunft zum Wanderweg fahren, eine kurze legale Fahrt auf den Straßen zum etwa 5 km entfernten Bill Nichols-Wanderweg. * Aufgrund von 2019 ist der Flood Bill Nicholas Trail geschlossen und der Trail 3 ist 5 Meilen (5 Meilen) entfernt.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Only a short drive from Houghton, the cabin was a great location to call home for a few days. There are kayaks available to rent for an additional fee. I would highly recommend.

Winter Wonderland

We visited our son for Winter Carnival and found this gem of a cabin. The owners are very kind and accommodating for everything we asked for. The fireplace and furniture were so cozy! Highly recommend any of their cabins!!!

Fun private property

What a great place this is! So much to do on the property alone. We were not expecting that. Our teens loved fishing and swimming in the lake. We were able to cookout. And everyone slept comfortably in the cabin. Everything was very clean. The communication with the owner was excellent. We would definitely stay here again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice cabin for 4 guys on a spring fishing trip. Bunk beds are a little small. Kitchen/ living room is spacious and comfortable. Quiet wooded location. Would definitely stay here on a return trip.

Lovely cabin stay

My husband and I found this cabin near Houghton so we could spend a weekend with our son, who is a student at Michigan Tech. The cabin was spacious, with attractive, sturdy furniture and cabinetry. We had plenty of space to spread out, and the scenery was just gorgeous.

Hidden Gem

Northwinds Adventures is amazing. We stayed (family of 5, 3 kids ages 13, 11, and 8) in the Walleye cabin. There was plenty of room, the kitchen had all the dishes, pans, and utensils you need. Bathroom was adequate and small bedrooms we didn't spend much time inside. Firepit was nice and spaced privately from other cabins. There is firewood at each cabin for a reasonable price and it is dry, hardwood firewood. The lake is excellent with 2 platforms to jump off of. The cost to use the nice paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes ($15/person for the stay) is a steal! The equipment available is great. We caught a couple walleye and a perch on the lake too. Paying for the watersports equipment and firewood is easy, just venmo the owner at the end of your stay. The location is nice if you want to be just out of town and we strongly recommend heading to breakers for a sunset fire on the black sand beach. Highly recommend Northwinds Adventure as a base camp for your Keweenaw trip.

Peace and Quiet

This was our third time visiting the walleye cabin and per usual, it did not disappoint. We always felt right at home. This place is a gem. Even though my cell phone had poor reception (which I am usually happy about), the wifi was strong enough to facilitate calls without hitch. We also appreciate the gifted maple syrup from the hosts. We are planning on returning again!

All around great experience

The location, cabin and environment were very peaceful. The property managers were prompt responding to any questions and were helpful. The cabin was clean and set up nicely. My boys had a blast in the lake kayaking and fishing (they were catching nice walleye). Couldn't recommend enough.

What a wonderful find! I planned a spur of the moment trip to visit my daughter at Michigan Tech. Five of us stayed very comfortably in the CLEAN cabin. We cooked and ate all of our meals there and had everything we needed—pots, pans, appliances, dishes. The weather was beautiful and we were able to open all of the windows to enjoy the fresh air. The fire pit is a nice size and located very close to the cabin, and firewood chopped and ready for a reasonable price. The host was quick at responding and was very attentive. We look forward to coming back after the lake is melted so we can enjoy some of the fun there. I love the serenity that this property has to offer. We will be back!

Just what we hoped for & more

We were visiting our MTU son & wanted a place to relax after outdoor adventures. The walleye cabin was a perfect place for our family of 4 to relax by the fire, work & do homework (good WI-FI), cook, and play games. The cabin was clean, well organized, & the beds & furniture were comfortable. And the view out to the aspens is beautiful. Michelle was easy to work with & accommodating when we needed to alter our plans. We would recommend this cabin & hope to be back one day.

The cabin has a cozy feel without being cramped. We loved the wood fireplace, and our MTU son was able to stay with us one night. We even hosted another small MTU family for lunch before heading to do some hiking! Great location close to the college with the amenities of home!

Perfect property!

We were pleasantly surprised by this property. Its somewhat secluded and very neat and clean. The best part was being able to sit on the deck or in front of the fire pit and have peace and quiet. I highly recommend this property! Its about a 16 minute drive to Michigan Tech, good distance without being too far.
