We stayed here for a family visit the last weekend of July, from Thursday to Sunday. While the location is convenient, being close to a main road and several motels, we had a very unsettling experience that made us feel unsafe.
On our second night, as we were returning from a family reunion with our children, an individual began shouting aggressively and approached our vehicle. We quickly ran inside the hotel and reported the incident to the front desk.
The next morning, someone knocked on our door three separate times. I didn’t recognize the person and didn’t see any hotel ID, so I didn’t open the door. When we informed the front desk, they confirmed the person was not an employee and said they would report it to the police.
On Saturday night, the knocking happened again, and we were so uncomfortable that we couldn’t sleep. We decided to leave around 3:30 a.m., only to find one of the building’s side doors left wide open.
This experience left us deeply disappointed and concerned for our family’s safety. While staff did respond when we reported incidents, the overall lack of security and the repeated disturbances during our stay were unacceptable. We won’t be returning.
