Tristen should be awarded employee of the month. Nathan the owner should be removed from Vrbo. My husband booked The Oak Casita for our 8 yr old daughters birthday. Here she and I would be Glamping for 2 nights in celebration of her. The temp was below freezing and there wasn’t any HOT WATER! Nathan hired a Property Management company and maintenance man Tristen came out several times to turn on the hot water heater. Nathan was contacted by Vrbo about the problem and his response was to have me go outside, at night in the freezing cold and flip the switch ( this was not a tankless water heater). We paid for glamping not camping! I had to boil several kettles of water to wipe myself and my daughter off each night and morning. With Vrbo the basic need of HOT WATER is met, and apart of the contract. Nathan failed to try ie make additional efforts within his control as owner to meet this need. Nathan may not be the owner of all of the (6 or 8) cabins on site at Selah Place and if that is the case I would recommend other cabins at Selah Place. The property management team decorated the cabin with Happy Birthday signs, candy and a golden “8”balloon. It was beautiful. The s’mores packages for the fire put outside was delightful and we were.able to make the best of the situation with their gifts of delicious local cupcakes, furry glamping slippers & attention to detail. The small lake is beautiful, and the property is clean and tucked away. I felt safe alone with my daughter here.
